Renovate Your Life!!

The Fall Home Show is here!! My condo is as plain as… okay it’s BORING. Which is why I’m so excited for the Home Show… cause I get to see what my home could one day look like!
Renovate your LIFE. Style your LIFE. Design your LIFE.

Some of the reasons why I’m excited to go (ahem apart from the gorge men that know they’re way around a toolbox. BONUS!)
It’s the Toronto debut of Decor(k), the ULTIMATE in eco-chic! (Cork floors? I gotta see this!)
I recently got rid of most of my furniture, simply because it was getting in the way. So I can’t wait for Carmen Dragomir to teach us how to master our condo space!
To my foodies, there’s gonna be lots of food, as well as well as fun and interactive cooking demonstrations by some top chefs! (not the show… I mean dope chefs!) Ian Na and Sang Na of KOKO Share bar will be teaching us how to prepare our favorite Korean and Japanese dishes (sushi, maki, bossam & temaki and MORE)

I’ve been wanting to paint my bedroom, bathroom and living room walls for the longest time, but I’ve been having a hard time picking the right colors. Decisions, decisions, lucky for me (and you); expert Karl Lohnes will be there to give us all the tips and tricks of adding color to your home! woot woot! Make sure you bring all your decorating questions, cause Karl’s seminars will be providing attendees with solutions to all their decorating dilemmas! Yay for Karl!
OMG there’s simply too much good stuff to mention, so make sure you check out the highlights!!

Adult (online) : $10.00, Adults (at door): $13.00, Senior: $11.00, Senior (online): $8.00, Youth 13-17: $11.00, Youth 13-17 (online): $8.00, 12 years & Under: Free.

See you there!

What I Learned from Suzanne Boyd

Be yourself. Every single version you please.  I knew I loved and admired her the first time I came across her scribbly signoff on the very first issue of Suede I picked up. Suzanne is the kind of person who has incredible foresight and speaks to the creative soul like myself. She is a powerhouse and she reminds me to reinvent myself constantly. Do whatever you please but do it well and with quality and style.

Love it Light

reminding me of my two longest friends, Doc & Chelle, & moi

Mum came to visit from England this past week (hence my active blogging absentee’ism) & told me about this Diet Coke campaign called ‘Love It Light’… and how much one of the characters looks like me… I giggled, when I looked further into it, each of the characters remind me of other ladies that I know.

The cutie characters Eleanor, Bernadette & Irene are diva-stated and sophisticated ladies working at a fashion magazine; Diet Coke brings fashion & style to an always familiar brand… in a whole new way! I thought it was sooo cute and had to share with all of you! xo

His Hers

I know last week I complained about how he wanted to be in A.B.E when I was wearing all black too… But now I think it’s kinda cute. Maybe I secretly love the things I  pretend I don’t like.  What do you think? Couples who dress alike? Yay or nay?
