Red lips, I would say, can be very intimidating and hard to pull off. If you don’t find the right shade and right form of lip color that fits you best, it could be disaterous. I used to be scared to wear red lipstick. I thought I’d look like a drag queen or a clown but once I found the right shade of red for myself, I was set. Now i’m hooked on red lips. Whenever I get a chance to rock it I totally will. So now… it’s time for you to find your perfect red.

I think the most universal red color would be like a fire engine red. A true to the heart red color.

If you have an olive/yellowy undertone, you should go for an orange-red lipstick or a red with a bit of gold in it. Tomato and brick reds work really well too.

For those that have cool, very pale maybe pinkish skintone, a red with a blueish undertone would fit best. A pinkish or berry-colored red would work as well.

No matter what I think everyone should find their perfect red and rock it at least once. If you’re not a fan, I can almost promise it’s because you haven’t found your match. You might want to start with a red that has a slightly blue undertone… it makes your teeth look whiter and we all know we wouldn’t mind a little help with that!
