When my wonderfully crazy friend Taj the Blacklion came to NYC for a visit last week, I was so excited to have dinner together. Knowing that he was an EX-New Yorker, and me being a relatively new one, I had to take him to the new hot spot du jour – You know they change quicker than a NY Minute! Nothing better than good friends and good food right? Amber is a resto-lounge in West Village with incredible decor and even better food. I was thrilled when I learned that I had won a contest by Singersroom.com to be one of 25 people invited to attend a private meet & greet with R&B artist Lloyd. Â I’ve always liked Lloyd’s music and “You” from his second album, Street Love, is easily one of my top 25 favorite songs. It was great to learn that Lloyd was a very down-to-earth, sociable, genuine guy with a good head on his shoulders.
