    Trend Alert: Men’s Ties?

For me, one of my staple pieces in my wardrobe is my boyfriend blazer. It makes any outfit a touch more sophisticated. Over the past couple of years the Women’s Department has been borrowing styles from the Men’s Department, like the blazer and the boyfriend jean.

Recently, Jessica Alba was seen wearing this black sequined tie along with a collared grey sweater, capri-length printed pants, and some brightly colored cap-toe heels.

On Jessica anything would look great, but I’m not sure this trend is something the average street-walked could wear. I think it’s cute for the right special occasion but deffinetly not something that could be worn on a daily like some of the other men’s trends.

For those of you who loved the sparkly tie, I haven’t seen it around the internet or stores yet but maybe you could steal a cute one , from the Men’s Department.

What do you think about this trend and how jessica wore it?

Fun Times: Christian Boutique V.I.P Cocktail, Chivas 1801, Greg Lauren Spring/Summer 2012

Nello (owner of Christian Boutique) and I

I went to so many fun events over the last couple of days, and met some pretty awesome people in the process. The Christian Boutique Private V.I.P Cocktail was lovely, I sipped on champagne while trying my hardest not to drool on all the pretty clothes (I also got to reconnect with people I hadn’t seen ages which is always awesome).

Then I went to the Chivas Tasting over at Ben Sherman on Queen street, and even though I’m afraid of the “burn” that comes with drinking scotch, I think I held my own… plus the cocktails were so good there was hardly any burn, just some good ol’ scotch!

Next was the Greg Lauren Spring/Summer 2012 Trunk show over at TNT, where I got to connect with lots of people, and even got to chat with Greg Lauren for a bit. All in all, it was super fun times!

I’ll have all the pictures up on Monday and Tuesday 🙂

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

    Le Cuteness: @ChibiJewels

Perfect for summer… or everyday in my case 🙂

I’m all about cute and affordable jewellery, so when I heard about and saw some of Chibi Jewelspieces, I couldn’t help but want to share it with you all 🙂 “Chibi Jewels is a New York jewelry studio whose whimsical collection of handmade jewelry takes inspiration from the traditions, colors, patterns, and symbols of cultures from around the world.” I was happy to find that a lot of the pieces are friendly on the pockets, with a price point that ranges from $15-$140, which is perfect for those of us that are yet to achieve “baller” status. ha ha

quite possibly one of the cutest rings ever

    more rings!

I have a pair of earrings just like this, and can’t help but think it’s meant to be…? This necklace should be mine.

In Japanese, chibi means small, but is only used as a term of endearment between those that are close… awwww

Hope you had a lovely weekend 🙂

    More Chibi goodness here!
