    Brooklyn’s Finest @ZoesPremium

Jacob is one of the pickiest dogs I have ever met!  We are always looking for new tasty foods and treats that are up to his standards.  His ultra HD pallet detects and prefers only the finest. Some of these things include beef short ribs, smokey turkey neck, Japanese honey sponge cake and Aged Gouda from the farmers market.    We ran into his friend Tamu this morning and she has recently started eating Zoe’s Premium and her owner Dave wanted Jacob to try it too!  The company cooks real food (people food for dogs!) with only the finest ingredients and the result? Happy, healthy, shiny, bouncy dogs!

The package comes in a frozen block and Jacob tried the Steak & Lentils.

Zoe’s Premium is a fully-cooked, frozen dog food made in a USDA-certified facility in Brooklyn, NY. It is packaged in convenient single-serve portions and made with 100% people quality ingredients!

We use only antibiotic-free, hormone-free white & dark meats, quality whole grains and legumes, and farm fresh vegetables

Organic raw honey and organic raw apple cider vinegar are in every formula to provide an immune system boost.

We also add our proprietary blend of trace minerals and nutrients to give your canine loved one a complete, wholesome – and belly-warming – meal.

One satisfied and slightly amused Jacob.

    @makeupshowlive London Event Carnival Weekend

Yesterday I went to the Cumberland Place Hotel for London’s Makeup Show Live on Carnival weekend. We met with X-Factor’s makeup artist Natalya Nair and she gave us some insight on celebrity makeup tricks for clients like Dannii Manogue. What I really enjoyed is that she simplified makeup for real women to understand and attribute to their personal way of life.

Of course we can’t go through a makeup event with a little catwalk. These girls have amazing skin. Jelly!

Along the many exhibitors showcasing new all-natural products, I discovered a gem. Bella Lucce has blown me away with their hand cream. Lemongrass and coconut? OMG. Dying. I don’t want to wash my hands.

    Until next time. Cheers! @missamandachen

Ladies and Gents Meet Style, or Mr.@HiltonWebb

Having a growing and stylish younger brother as a sibling is hard enough. Finding something to get him for his birthday is another story. Meet Hilton Webb. A modern style guru at the click of a button.

Stumbling across his site, Hilton Webb, was pure luck. Getting a surprise present for someone like my brother isn’t easy, Hilton though makes it as smooth as butter. Giving style tips on everything from Ralph “Lauren Moments” to advice on J.Crew 484’s pants. Finding the right thing for that loved one or getting quick tips on the latest has been made a whole lot easier.

Not to mention Hilton is a little easy on the eyes!

    When asked:

    What influenced his style?

H- ” The day influences my style. Whatever I’am doing that day.
Regardless the style, weather, urban, or business its clean and
    organized.”

If you are wondering exactly what his advice would be on style and saving, he has an answer for that too:

H- ” eBay and thrift stores. Style is what you make it, not where you get it from.”

Now that present for my brother won’t be so hard to find! So whether your looking for a style guide or some “product awareness”, Mr. Hilton is your man. You can follow all of his latest trends on fashion on Twitter, @HiltonWebb or follow his blog Hiltified. Don’t sleep on this man, as he would say, “Don’t Just have swagg, have a ‘Grade A Swagg’ “.

    Mod, Meet Rocker @BenSherman1963

Plectrum by Ben Sherman’s autumn 2012 “Mod, Meet Rocker” advertising campaign is phenomenal. A little bit of historical good looks with a modern twist on how the season translates from across the pond.

To showcase the collision between two iconic movements, Mods and Rockers, Ben Sherman looked to their very own shop boys to bring the campaign to life.
The Ben Sherman London retail teams hit the streets of London where they were photographed in their favorite hangouts, including pubs and pool halls.

Photographer Antony Crook captured the scenes and brought them to life in over six campaign images.

From the Crown of your Head: Bantu Knots

As we go back to work and school we have everything lined up. From our makeup and accessories to our shoes and handbags, but we tend to forget about a very important aspect; our hair! Well, I’ve found a solutions that have helped me maintain the health of my hair.

When on the rush to work and school, sometimes I don’t have the time to style my hair so the night before I’ll do a style called, bantu knots. They’re super easy and don’t require much time but do require a at least two inches of hair. Here are some of the products I use to help me accomplish this super cute and quick style!

    – Satin bonnet
    – Denman brush
    – Satin or silk pillow case
    – Castor oil or oil mixtures for spritzing
    – Wide tooth comb

Tutorials for bantu knots can be found all over Youtube but my favorite three are:

    1. Naptural85
    2. MyNaturalSistas
    3. whoissugar

The finished results of about ten minutes of styling and dancing in the mirror!

Bantu knots aren’t the cutest style but its what you make of them!
