Bernardo Rojo for Joseph Abboud @JAApparel S/S 2013

Tai and I had a super busy day yesterday and we were so happy to make it to the Joseph Abboud spring 2013 runway show at the New York Public Library. It was a full house and the venue was buzzing with Fashion Week excitement.  The music was suspenseful and the models wore white Common Project sneakers to complete the look.

We took some street style pics for Cosmo UK  as well!

The show commenced with live music and intense visuals. The runway was a square and the models and clothes were phenomenal.  The tailored pants, the bright patent leather jackets and the zip open hoods were just some of my favorite looks.

Here are my favorite looks from the crowd that attended the show.

    Review LOVE: @SeanolCanada

I love when women are doing BIG things! So I was really excited when I heard that sisters-in-law Jesse Cho and Christina Cho had decided that it was time to share their family secret to flawless skin by introducing Seanol products from their motherland of South Korea. I was even more excited when I received a package in the mail containing Seanol products: Deep Clean Cava foaming cleanser, Petipore Cava, and the Procava Shampoo & Conditioner. Score!

“Two young and trendy female entrepreneurs introduce a new algae beauty secret to Canada”

The powers of marine algae have been known for thousands of years for their ability to prolong life, prevent disease, and impart health and beauty. Seanol is all-natural and composed of a special brown algae extract. It orginates from South Korea and designed to reach the most cellular foundations of the skin. The key ingredient in Seanol products is Ecklonia Cava, a sea polyphenol extracted from brown algae that growns exclusively off the cost of Korea’s Jeju Island. Seanol is a partially insoluble extract that can be easily absorbed by human cells. The result is a 100% all-natural, non-toxic and effective formula that possesses an array of healing properties.

I tried the Deep Clean Cava foaming cleanser, and loved how gentle it was on my skin, and how soft and clean my skin felt. There was no tightness at all, and it was just a thoroughly pleasant experience. I seemed to have an immediate allergic reaction to the Petipore Cava pore cream, but I gave it to one of my girlfriends and she loves it! No allergic reactions there, so it must be me.

“Luxurious, super anti-oxidizing, and direct from the sea”

    shampoo and conditioner

I normally co-wash and stay away from shampoo but I looooove the Procava Shampoo & Conditioner. My scalp felt so clean, my hair felt so soft, and was still nice and soft after it dried. Win! I’ve been washing my hair at least twice a week with it for the last month, and so far so so GOOD.

    happy hair 🙂

What I love about it? Seanol skincare products are free of parabens and preservatives, and act as a potent anti-oxidant that drastically improve skin elasticity, blood circulations, and moisture retention.

    The Goods:

    • Deep Clean Cava foaming cleanser: removes dead skin cells to reveal a clear and soft complexion. $24.00 CDN
    • Petipore Cava: restores moisture while minimizing pores to give a youthful glow. $49.00 CDN
    • Procava Shampoo & Conditioner: strengthens keratin, controls dandruff, reduces redness and promotes hair growth and thickness. $25.00 CDN

Thanks to Jesse and Christina for sharing this with us!

    A Definite Go-To Concealer @MiracleSkin

Miracle Skin Transformer is really what it says it is…

This is an eye and face concealer designed to cover, correct, and protect your skin. It’s a hydrator that will evenly smooth skin and minimize the appearance of pores, fine lines and pigmentation spots.

Miracle Skin Transformer Treat & Conceal Eye & Face contains marine collagen, white rose and chamomile extracts, and is available in many shades. For $36, you apply a small pearl sized amount. I use less since I like to use it for my eyes only. It is also free of synthetic fragrances, parabens and harsh chemicals.

I’ve been using this for several days now and I love this three-in-one product for under and around my eyes. I have some dark circles and my one eye has sunspots around it so this concealer does great in giving me some coverage. It goes on smooth, is not thick at all, and minimizes my fine lines. It’s creamy but goes on silky smooth and goes on evenly if you want to use it just for your eyes like I do.

If you want a concealer, this is it! For real!

MST Treat & Conceal Eye & Face in Light

Thank you, Amanda & MST for this and for also my Miracle Skin Transformer SPF20 Face (review)!
