    @UNIQLO collaboration with Pharrell Williams

    Fresh from getting down with Lupita Nyong’O, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams at the Oscars, Pharrell has got himself a new gig as the face of Uniqlo UT. Recently relaunched under the creative direction of his friend and frequent collaborator Nigo – the man famous for founding legendary Japanese label BAPE – Uniqlo’s streetwear line is anchored by the aptly monikered “The New Model T” T-shirt. Its USP? Not only is it made from a hardier cotton than Uniqlo’s regular shirts, but it also features a torso with no sides seams for added comfort as well as a series of eye-popping graphics throughout the season.

    Pharrell-01-GQ_04Mar13_pr_b_426x639While the offering is always extensive, this season Nigo has taken things into a whole new realm by creating a range of T-shirts featuring 35 themes in a staggering 1200 colours combinations and patterns. The first you can see on Pharrell himself here is a collaboration with the Oscar nominee’s “i am OTHER” collective. While there are few details on exactly what will be in the full selection we can say that it will consist of T-shirts and caps, and is set to launch in mid-April with a TV commercial soundtracked by a track from Pharrell’s new album GIRL.

    Stumble into @Bare_Burger for Brunch

    Last weekend, I woke up and stumbled into Bare Burger. We usually go to this place for their healthy fries/onion ring combo, delicious sliders and a slew of condiments. I love sauce did you know that?  But this organic burger joint has brunch too!  Who knew!  I was happily surprised and got the chicken and waffles platter with banana fritters and sweet potato fries. It came with paprika butter! YUM.

    Tai had a really yummy burger too that he could customize everything from meat, bun to toppings and ‘done-ness’ of the meat. IMG_6008

    Look!  Still sleepy 🙂

    I love @PaperFashion Katie Rodgers

    Katie Rodgers created the site Paper Fashion in 2009 as an outlet to share her fantastical watercolors with the world. It has since taken her on an incredible journey…

    Katie grew up in a small country town just outside of Atlanta, GA. Living in the country with three brothers, she would often escape into her own imaginative worlds. Her aunt gifted Katie her first professional set of watercolors before the age of 7, and needless to say, she fell head over heels in love with them. Fashion, whimsy, and nature have forever been lurking inside her mind and onto the blank pages of her watercolor blocks.

    Katie currently resides in New York City.

    She has been commissioned by the likes of Valentino, Swarovski, Clé de Peau, Kate Spade, Coach, Alicia Keys, Calypso St. Barths, Stuart Weitzman, Parker Pens, Lacoste, and Glamour Magazine among others.

    Event LOVE: @Swarovski Spring/Summer 2014 Presentation

    IMG_0747

    We were invited to the Swarovski Spring/Summer 2014 Presentation on Thursday, and as per usual it was LOVELY! The collection boasts a plethora of beautiful, sparkly and shiny pieces with intricate details and the prettiest of colours. I. Was. In. Heaven. Spring is a time of new beginnings, renewal, warmer weather, and the prettiest colours, and that’s exactly what the Swarovski Spring/Summer 2014 Collection gave us. In true Bella fashion, once I got all my pictures I took off my coat and all my jewellery and tried on some of my favourite pieces; my hands even hit the “red carpet” decked out in Swarovski bling!

    IMG_0687

    It’s such a pretty, colourful and fresh collection, and even boasted some pieces that I’ve never seen them do before, i.e. the tribal necklace (which I LOVED!). I mentioned how intricate these pieces were, but my words couldn’t possibly come close to describe, just how beautiful and intricate they are so you’re just going to have to see for yourself!

    Enjoy!
