Here’s What You Missed: Miami Swim Week Edition

Miami Swim Week is a week for all of those who ate a little too many hot dogs during the 4th of July to reevaluate their life choices. All jokes aside, Swim Week has become a major platform for the hottest swimwear designers to showcase their best work. What better place to do this than in Miami Beach, home of some of the hottest beach bods around. Bloggers, models, editors, and enthusiast travel from everywhere to witness this celebration. This year’s Swim Week took place July 14-18th. Here’s a recap of some of the hottest trends of the week and how you can sport it this summer!

    Nudes

Nudes have been taking the fashion world by storm. We see this trend everywhere! If nudes are a little boring for you and you are all about color in the summer, try this trend with something smaller like a bag or a pair of cute sandals to not overpower your outfit.

    Cutouts

Cut out swimsuits are quite the sight, but they aren’t the most flattering. Don’t let that discourage you. In the words of Queen Bee: If you got it flaunt it!

    Boho

Boho is another trend that has been spotted everywhere in recent years. I love the laid back vibe it brings to swimwear. You don’t have to go all the way out of your way to purchase a boho looking swimwear, you can accessorize it to fit the theme. Suggestions below!

Some of these pieces won’t be out until Summer 2017, but there is no reason why you can’t start sporting these looks now. Check out these few pieces to add to any swimwear to create a trendy look! Talk about luxury: those marble flip flops are a must! I am obsessed with gold costume jewelry with swimwear and who isn’t wearing a choker these days? Check out #MiamiSwimWeek for more recaps and cool pictures for this past weeks affairs.

BHüe is a new e-commerce beauty brand boasting a unique business structure where products are created using crowdsourcing and feedback directly from customers. This proactive and nimble process allows BHüe to engage in a two-way conversation with their customers, known as the BHüe crew, adjust products quickly while staying ahead of industry trends, and produce products that people want. BHüe’s mission is to help individuals look in the mirror and see their best, most confident self. Be fearless. Be bold. Be yourself. BHüe.

Officially launched in May 2016, and formulated out of a small laboratory in Little Falls, NJ, the BHüe brand was founded by makeup manufacturer-turned entrepreneur and brand builder, Ivonne Ruggles. Ivonne’s background in beauty is extensive, with experience in operations and manufacturing from a young age. Her knowledge spans from the inner-workings of the lab where she spends much of her time, to raw materials, and the complete process of product development. Ruggles, who is also a certified makeup artist, says “I love that the beauty industry is really an intersection between science and art. We live in a world that is both subjective and objective and I pull my inspirations from thinking of beauty from these opposite but complementary angles.”

With Ruggles’ unmatched, hands-on approach and industry knowledge, BHüe is able to set itself apart and make exceptional products holistically. Paraben-free, cruelty-free and hypo-allergenic, BHüe uses a proprietary methodology to create color for the wide range of people’s unique skin tones and combine it with current color trends. Like the BHüe name implies, the beauty brand has expansive understanding of color, with specific techniques to develop raw pigment colors when creating products.
