Washington-based coffee company to donate 100% of proceeds from new coffee called ‘TIP JAR’ to employees amid Covid-19 downturn
Olympia Coffee Roasting Co. announced a new coffee called Tip Jar, which has been available to order online from Wednesday, March 25, 2020. All proceeds from the sale of each 12oz bag of this affectionately-labeled single-origin coffee from Peru will be pooled and disbursed to staff as a way to assist with financial burdens experienced as a result of the Coronavirus/Covid-19 outbreak. In a statement sent to staff, Oliver Stormshak, president of the company based 45-minutes south of Seattle, WA, said, “… we’ve been trying to think of additional ways we can be here for you.
