Is it time to refresh your summer sandals to Empty Provisions, they are easy, comfortable and goes with everything

Sun, sand and sandals! Do you have a pair of sandals that are easy, comfortable and goes with everything? Introducing Empty Provisions Footwear, which is an ethical line of footwear that is committed to designing and producing items that are sustainable, comfortable, and stylish. After noticing a gap in the market for shoes that are modern, cute, and durable while being kind to the environment, founder Chrissy Durden sought to create a brand that followed these goals and ideals.

Empty Provisions’ sandals are made by hand in Maine. They use these metal dies to help cut the leather straps – getting the right cut every time! Every shoe is designed in Somerville, MA and crafted by hand in small batches in central Maine with the materials also being sourced locally. Since less than 1% of shoes in the U.S. are made here, they take great pride in their partnership with local New England craftspeople to support their businesses. Sourcing and crafting locally also means Empty Provisions is minimizing their carbon footprint by reducing unnecessary CO2 emissions. All while stimulating the local economy.

The Frances genuine leather sandal is your goto for go summer – designed for all day adventuring. Pair them with shorts for an early morning hike, a sundress for a day at the beach, or jeans for touring your favorite city. Wherever your journey takes you, this handmade leather sandal will keep you comfortable and looking great.

The open cross-toe design gives an airy feel, but good coverage, while the adjustable back ankle strap provides a custom fit and easy on and off. An EVA wedge in the heel adds just the right cushioning.
