Elevate Your Practice: Unveiling the Comfort and Style of Silverwind Yoga Wear

Quality yoga wear is essential for yoga enthusiasts, particularly women, as it enhances both comfort and performance during practice. Well-designed yoga apparel provides the flexibility and support needed for various poses, ensuring a full range of motion. The right fabric wicks away moisture, keeping practitioners dry and focused. Beyond functionality, stylish and comfortable yoga wear contributes to a positive mindset, boosting confidence and allowing individuals to fully immerse themselves in their practice. Ultimately, a good set of yoga wear becomes more than just clothing; it becomes a supportive companion on the journey to physical and mental well-being.

SILVERWIND, founded by Keri Waits and Katherine Zeng in 2020, emerged from a shared passion for sustainability and fitness. In the initial months of that year, they embarked on their professional journey but found their roles lacked the purpose they sought. With a dedication to sustainability and a love for fitness, they observed a gap in the market for diverse and eco-friendly activewear styles. Inspired by nature’s variety, they decided to establish SILVERWIND to offer sustainable activewear options. Collaborating with a family-owned factory in China, boasting 30 years of experience, they aimed to provide affordable, sustainable choices. SILVERWIND transcends being merely a brand; it’s a community fostering diversity, fitness, and sustainability, owned by all who share the belief that these aspects should coexist. Committed to positive impact, they collaborate with other sustainable organizations and charities, recognizing the shared responsibility of supporting one another and Mother Earth.

SILVERWIND’s patterned activewear is crafted from recycled polyethylene tetraphyte (RPET), which is PET plastic that has been recycled, reprocessed, and transformed into something new. The production of RPET not only consumes up to 50% less energy compared to manufacturing PET from scratch but also prevents plastic bottles from ending up in landfills or the ocean. This sustainable approach ensures that the planet remains unharmed. Instead of relying on the environmentally damaging process of crude oil primary extraction to obtain the core ingredient of PET, SILVERWIND utilizes an abundant product that might otherwise contribute to plastic pollution.

Ensuring quality and safety, the brand secures Standard 100 certification from Oeko-Tex for all its fabrics. This certification affirms that the clothing is free from harmful substances, such as arsenic, lead, phthalates, formaldehyde, and pesticides. Additionally, the RPET recycled fabric used is verified through the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), offering assurance that the products are crafted in a sustainable and ethical manner using recycled materials.

Silverwind, as a socially and environmentally-responsible business, believes in doing more than providing customers with comfort and confidence; it strives to leverage its influence to support earth projects and aid vulnerable females and the less fortunate. Since the inception of the business, Silverwind has been a steadfast supporter of Ocean Conservancy, an organization at the forefront of marine conservation, seeking effective science-based solutions to protect the ocean and wildlife. Silverwind directly donates 10% of its profit to Ocean Conservancy’s ocean conservation projects with every sale, embodying its dedication to making a positive impact.
