CHURCH bar had an exclusive media preview on Friday, and it was SUPER fun times! I don’t really know how to explain my night, but you’ll be able to tell by the huge grin on my face in all the pictures, that I had an awesome time. Back To Style with @TOEatonCentre

The Toronto Eaton Centre is currently running a Back To Style program that offers free private style consults for back to school 2012, and even though I’m not going back to school this fall (thank G-d), I still wanted to see what this program was all about. So I met up with Laura, my style consultant and she took me around Eaton Centre, taking me to different  stores that she thought would carry fashion and accessories that would suit my style.

Laura suggested these for me… She was totally on the money, I saw these and fell in love!

    and this…

I also got to meet with Meredith Vlitas, Senior Marketing Director for the Eaton Centre, and after bombarding her with questions I found out that the Back To Style program isn’t only for back to school students, it’s for everybody! So whether you’re looking for a new fall wardrobe or just want to spice things up, the Toronto Eaton Centre style consultants are more than happy to help you. She also says that the program may run again next summer, and a few more times during the year!

Back To Style Consultant Laura Leroux was awesome!

You can book your appointment with one of the three style consultants through the Toronto Eaton Centre’s website. You can even read through their profiles, and pick the one you’d prefer to work with! The appointments can be made until  tomorrow August 24th, between 11 am and 8pm. Hurry!

Back To Style Consultants: Laura Leroux, Michelle Lundgren, and Chrissy Kingma

    loved these!

As part of the Back To Style program, Toronto Eaton Centre will run a Back To Style Sweepstakes on it’s Facebook page, and prizes include a 2-hour style consultation with Alexis Honce (lead wardrobe stylist for Marilyn Denis on The Marilyn Denis Show) and $1,000 in Cadillac Fairview shop! card gift cards!!

    Go book your appointment NOW!

Thank you to the Toronto Eaton Centre for inviting me 🙂

    stay stylish!

    Event LOVE: Dirty Car Exhibit

I went to the Dirty Car Exhibit at Edition/Richmond gallery and was totally blown away. I’m not sure what I was expecting, but I LOVED what I saw. The gallery was transformed into a unique single-day art exhibit, and we got to enjoy cocktails and hors d’oeuvres while admiring the unique artwork of world-renowned ‘dirty car artist’ Scott Wade.

…Possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen 🙂

I don’t know about you, but I’ve never seen a dirty car look so good!

    Thanks for inviting me 🙂

    F.O.A.M Festival Toronto @FOAM_TO

I got an invite to the F.O.A.M Festival, and was so excited to check it out, especially because this was my first one and I heard there’d be lots of artwork and good music from local artists…oh and lots of SMORES to snack on!! Even though the weather was TERRIBLE, I had a good time checking out the art, snacking on smokes, and having a good laugh with ReeRee and Nathaniel. All in all, it was a good night 🙂

    yummmmmmmm

    Thank you for inviting me!

Stuck on Weldbond: D.I.Y Fun Pt. Two

I finally finished the second shoe! If it wasn’t for “The Fabric Treatment” post, and my receiving the Weldbond glue, I probably wouldn’t have tried this, so thank you to Mo for the inspiration, and thank you to Weldbond glue for a glue that makes D.I.Y. projects easy and fun… and I had a lot of fun doing this, especially because I thought the end result would be disastrous lol. I was chuckling and doing a little happy dance every time I successfully glued a piece of fabric to the shoe. In fact, I had so much fun, I’ve already started working on some other D.I.Y. projects…

I just gotta give them a quick wipe, and they’ll be perfect!

If you have any home renovation plans or up coming art/d.i.y. projects, I would totally recommend Weldbond glue. It’s not only good for glueing, but can also be used for sealing, priming AND it’s water resistant. Weldbond glue can also be used a wide variety of surfaces and projects such as glass, wood, plaster, metals, tiles, building panes, ceramic, cement, brinks, fabrics (obviously) and more!

You can find Weldbond glue at your local Home Depot, Canadian Tire, Lowes, Home and Hardware, and Michaels craft stores. Get you some!

    Thanks for the glue!

… did I mention that it’s environmentally friendly AND it’s created and made in Canada!
