Checking out a Botanical Garden with @BuffaloGardens

It was such a nice day yesterday so I went to The Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens in Buffalo, NY for the first time.

There is so much to learn about plants native to this region, as well as tropical & sub-tropical regions of the world. Inside the garden you can easily walk through each of the 9 greenhouses and 3 glass domes to check out different ferns, orchids, desert plants, etc.

In the Florida Everglades house you can learn the importance of maintaining wetlands, and after that you can see the many different kinds of cacti in the Desert house. From bonsais to orchids to houseplants, you sure shouldn’t be disappointed.

I was pleased with my visit to the garden and left with a succulent (cactus) plant! 🙂
