The founder of TGC, Kristin Miracle-Lewis is a mother of two beautiful boys and her husband and herself are blessed to live in the amazing city of Laguna Beach,.
She have always had an interest in fashion and design, specifically interiors. In 2015, Kristin read the book Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert and to say she was inspired would be an understatement. Kristin reached out to a couple extremely talented friends to see if they would be interested in doing pop-ups out of their garages and the GARAGE collective was born.
In 2016 Kristin stumbled upon the space that now houses TGC. The timing couldn’t have been worse (aka the holidays) but if she waited for the perfect opportunity at the perfect time she would be waiting forever, thanks to Elizabeth Gilbert! The GARAGE collective is a collective retail space where artists, makers and creatives collaborate and inspire each other. Together they can grow the businesses, support one another and provide a unique shopping experience to the community.
