SteadyStraps® started as a burst of inspiration after dropping our phones way too many times. We thought: “There must be a better way to hold our phones!”
As it turns out, there was! We decided to go to the local fabric store, purchase some material, and cut it to fit our phones. It worked! We couldn’t believe how much easier it made both holding and using our phones. When using the strap, we haven’t dropped our phones since that day!
Our daughter, who was riding the subway in NYC everyday, found the strap enabled her to hold her phone more securely and comfortably. She encouraged us to pursue it as a business and SteadyStraps® was born!
THE BUSINESS
We worked hard to get the product just right. Everything is USA sourced and made. We custom source the elastic material, which is super slim, strong, flexible, and non-allergenic. We use Velcro® Brand hook & loop Fasteners for a secure closure. The designs are printed through a dye-sublimation process which allows our designs to stay looking great and not fade with use. SteadyStraps® Brand phone straps are washable and can be thrown in with your laundry or run under the sink for a quick rinse!
Initially, we launched the product in the B2B market helping companies to better promote their brand and advertise their business at the grassroots level. In October 2020, we entered the consumer market and launched our ecommerce store with more than 50 fun designs which people can collect and easily change depending on their preference, outfit, or activity. Our SteadyStraps® Brand phone straps really shine in these casual, everyday settings and people love them!
