CoverFX – Beauty Blogger’s Event
Last week I had the opportuntity to be one of the few to attend CoverFX’s Beauty Blogger’s event for their 10 year Anniversary… ohhhhh so lucky am I!!! I’m in love!!!Beauty + Medical = CoverFX!The coverage is incredible, the texture is insane & its boss for you skin!I got a first-hand look at the ‘Uncover Flawless’ campaign launching for Spring/Summer 2010 and had the opportunity to learn about the products. It’s one thing to have dated scums, but it’s really another thing to rub your face in it
I fell in love with Dove years ago when I worked on the Campaign for real beauty. When my friend Duane came to visit me in LA last month, all he used was Dove. I always use the Beauty Bar to wash off my makeup and it never leaves that ‘squeaky’ or ‘tight’ feeling. It leaves your face feeling clean but moisturized. Skin Shield
Winter means dry skin and I love feeling moisturized but not sticky icky. I like to moisturize right out of a hot shower but I hate how lotion sticks to leggings and tights and even jeans. I recently received a bottle to SkinMD from the amazing PR people over there to test out this product. My favorite thing about it is that it absorbs in 30 seconds and really creates a ‘shield’ for your skin. I love beauty products and though this one is not marketed that way, it truly works! I am a fan of high performance products and you should definitely try this one if you are looking for something fast absorbing and liquid.
The visocity is thin and liquidy – I would say it’s more runny than a primer but thicker than a serum.
Not even 15 seconds later, my skin is ‘shield’ed! ^_^ (Jacob cameo)I looked on the list of ingredients and I think this is will be one more my staples in my skin care routine. There are no baddies in there such as parabens, fragrance or animal products – overall I like it! If you want check out their site and see what they are all about. When my sister comes to visit next week from Edmonton, I will get her to try it. She is extremely picky when it comes to lotions because she likes her skin to be not greasy at all! I think she will like it.

New beauty brands are popping up all over the place. This is a new Canadian beauty brand I am dying to try! The eyeshadows come in cute names like Timeless, VIP, Mariposa and Golda. The packaging seems to be stock and the logo and overlook appeal reminds me of a classy chick who has always been pretty and has a boyfriend her whole life and live at her parents house while having a full time job. I’m just saying. :\

Vaseline Sheer Infusion
I received a package from Harbinger!
It’s the brand new Vaseline Sheer Infusion with Stratys 3. This body lotion smells divine! This is perfect timing because I was just looking for new body lotions. I am obsessed with body lotions, body butters, spray moisturizers and hand creams. I have ummm a lot.
Perfect way to get ready for autumn is to keep your skin happy and moisturized. Stratys 3 is a new technology that allows the moisture to penetrate 3 levels of your skin, not just the top one. What does that mean? That means you feel amazing all day, all day, all day long. 🙂 How? Well from my beauty technology class, I know that quats are amazing moisturizers and that is exactly what’s in this formulation. Glycerol Quats + Glycerin + Hydroxy Ethyl urea makes one powerful moisturizer! It is not sticky or thick and smells like crisp pear and apple blossom! Nothing wrong with smell delicious.
