Meet the Angolan Simpsons guys!! I saw this and couldn’t stop laughing! and then I kinda got offended lol. Africa’s digital satellite TV service recently announced that it now offers The Simpsons on channel Bue in Angola. So an ad agency decided it’d be fun to re-culturize America’s most famous TV family and made them AFRICAN! There’s been positive and negative responses to this. I don’t mind it but I do have to ask if they think that’s the only way “Africans” will understand The Simpsons? Or are they simply just trying to make it something that “Africans” can relate to? I don’t know how I feel about this one guys… What do you think?
