Vegas Stronger Partners with Clean the World Foundation to Provide 24/7 Bathrooms and Wash Stations to Homeless in Las Vegas

Wash Stations Are Located Outside Vegas Stronger Head Quarters

Vegas Stronger, a non profit whose mission is to help eradicate opioid addiction through treatment and housing in Las Vegas, has partnered with the Clean the World Foundation, a non profit leader in global health dedicated to water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) and global sustainability, to bring free wash stations to Vegas Stronger Head Quarters.

The partnership brings 2 toilets and 1 hand wash station to the parking lot outside Vegas Stronger headquarters, where those without a home or a place to clean up are welcome to use them 24/7. The goal is to help those without the means to help themselves. Vegas Stronger, and Clean the World, believe strongly that this does not enable homeless, because while we have a pandemic, being mindful of helping those who aren’t able to help themselves, stay clean and safe, is another way of actively encouraging those into treatment, to better their lives.

“Basic hygiene is one of the most important building blocks of starting a successful recovery,” said David Marlon, Vegas Stronger Founder. “I’m thrilled we could partner with the Clean the World Foundation and help spread the soap, no pun intended, both here in Vegas and around the world.

Currently, the Clean the World Foundation has served over 12,000,000 people in 127 countries.

The wash stations opened on March 8, 2022, and will be open 24/7.

    About Vegas Stronger

Vegas Stronger is a unique Non-Profit Organization 503(c)(3) focused on reversing the devastation caused to our community by the opiate epidemic and addiction. Our out-of-the box approach helps anyone afflicted, regardless of their race, socio-economic status, or housing situation, in an outpatient facility. We offer more than just traditional groups and are a growing facility with a sober boxing gym, coffee shop, bookstore, bicycle mission, and our customized “13 Core Elements Method.”

We facilitate that restoration to wholeness for individuals, families, and society at large, by creating awareness and providing access to both state-of-the-art and historically reliable remedies. Our services cater to all suffering from the depths of addiction. In many instances, residential rehab is not a viable or financial option.
