Free Skating at High Line Rink
After living in Cancun for the past 3 months, I’ve just returned home to my favorite city, New York—and back to blogging for HeyDoYou. It’s great to be back! 🙂
As always, there’s a lot going on in the city this summer, and if summer fun is what you’re looking for, you will not want to miss out on the High Line Rink – Made for All by UNIQLO, a new, outdoor roller skating rink, which will be open from July 28 through September 26.
This collaboration between UNIQLO and Friends of the High Line brings one of the greatest summer pastimes to The Lot, located under the High Line at West 30th Street & 10th Avenue. In addition to skating, you can also shop at the UNIQLO Cube, munch on food from a rotating series of food truck, and sip beer and wine at the Lot on Tap.

What’s better than skating, shopping, and snacking under the High Line? FREE skating, of course! And to celebrate the opening of the High Line Rink, UNIQLO will give free admission to the first 500 visitors on the first two days (July 28 & 29).The rink will be open from 11AM – 10PM, Sunday through Wednesday and 11AM – 11PM, Thursday through Saturday (Admission, including skate rental: $10 under 13 years old / $12 adults).
