Did you know that the first time you light your candle is the most important burn? Here are a few more secrets to long lasting great smelling candles…

• Burn your candle for 3-4 hours for the first use. – This helps create a wax pool that reaches the edges of the jar. I know its tempting to keep the candle party going, but always put it out after 4 hours. The aroma will still be there long after.
• Cut a small piece of your wick after every use to keep the flame low. – Yes, relighting without cutting the wick may work every once in a while, but for the majority of the time, it is just a “quick fix” and doesn’t work long term.
• Don’t forget to cover your candle when your done enjoying it.
