On Thursday I attended the Pretty Nails Rock Pure Ice polish launch. Beauty Bar was the venue–a funky dive bar that serves up cocktails and manicures in Manhattan’s East Village.

Pure Ice Vinyl Remix is the new nail polish line by Bari Cosmetics, known for their inexpensive, high-quality polishes. Vinyl Remix is the next generation of Crackle nail enamels.

The “remix” is that the color is revealed after it dries. First, you apply the Platinum Magic Base Coat, then you use one of the Vinyl Remix enamels on top. When the polish dries, the white base is transformed into a mystery color, with the black Crackle design on top.

I got my mani in Glam Rock, a cool pink.
