    Youngblood Minerals in the Mist

Here to review another product again from The Makeup Show LA, the Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics ‘Youngblood Minerals in the Mist.’ The mineral mist I got was the red “recharge” one which is supposed to have a mix of mint, ginger, minerals, and nutrients that are supposed to recharge your skin. These types of mists can be used to a variety of things. I like to use them as a pick me up throughout the day to moisten my face. After putting powder on my face, I’ll use it to set the powder. Sometimes when I have the chalky, dryish look from too much powder or just dry skin, the mist helps smooth it over. The ginger and mint added a nice cool feeling after spraying it which is great. Other mists I’ve tried usually just feel wet until the mist dries. The scent, though, took a while for me to get used to. I thought it smelled a little  odd at first (smelling like a mix of ginger and mint of course) but I’ve grown to like it. The scent might not be for everyone but they definitely perk me up (me and my skin)!

It’s $24 for a 4 oz bottle… a little pricey for something I don’t really consider a necessity but one bottle will last you a really long time. If you’re looking for a new mist-type of product to set your makeup I’d definitely recommend it. Minerals in the Mist also come in two other versions: Refresh and Restore. Refresh with tangerine and grapefruit and Restore has grapefruit, lime, and rosemary. I have yet to try them but I’m hoping to in the future! 🙂
