Jacquie Neville, Liam Jaeger, and Steve Neville are The Balconies; a trio made up of a brother, sister and boyfriend (sounds like fun!). They’re Ottawa’s pride and joy, and they’ve been turning heads with exciting live performances all over the country; sharing the stages with notable acts like Mother Mother, Young Rival, Sister Suvi and the Bicycles to name a few…They’re all experienced songwriters and performers, so it’s understandable that they are quickly becoming one of Canada’s most promising new indie bands!
Formed in only December 2007, The Balconies have built a reputation for their high-energy-rock-out shows in a very short amount of time. They recently released their debut album this past September and they’ll be capping off the year with two holiday shows in both their hometowns (Toronto + Ottawa; including a performance at this years AudioBlood and Third Estate’s Jingle Bell Rock Event. An event featuring artists such as CMTM, Make Your Exit, and Oh No Forest Fires, omg I gotta be there! Love them all!
