Matthew Langille for K-SWISS

K-Swiss cares about the environment and our impact on the health of our community and our planet. We have partnered with Heal the Bay, a non-profit organization dedicated to making the coastal waters and watersheds of our hometown Los Angeles safe, healthy and clean.

We realize that the work of Heal the Bay, as well as our own efforts, will have a greater impact on the health, safety and quality of life of our children over ourselves. Because of this, we’ve created a special shoe designed specifically for kids that celebrates the educational efforts of the Heal the Bay aquarium located at the Santa Monica pier, a place where children can learn about our local eco-system and become ambassadors for protecting our oceans.

The most popular animals at the aquarium are the octopus and seahorse. We collaborated with an artist name Matthew Langille, a passionate advocate himself, to create an octopus and seahorse themed graphic on our most popular shoe, the Classic. The shoe also features innovative and sustainable materials to reduce our impact on the environment.

All proceeds from the sales of the shoes go to support Heal the Bay.
