About the Author

Dr. Xiao Jing (Iris) Wang is a gastroenterologist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, where she lives with her husband and son. She grew up in NYC and completed part of her training in Atlanta before finding her ‘true north’ in Minnesota. During the day, Dr. Wang treats and counsels patients on bowel disorders, including constipation, and at night, makes up stories with her son. When she’s not creating silly educational rhymes, Dr. Wang makes macarons and sourdough creations while listening to a podcast or audiobook on 1.2 speed.
