I’ve got a soft spot for a well-dressed man (who doesn’t?) and so I’m always interested to know what’s going on in the men’s fashion world. And since Fashion Week just kicked off, I’m treated to sneak peeks of some of the best designers out there.
Photo credit: Dan LeccaThe Ernest Alexander Spring/Summer 2014 Presentation was held this week in trendy Tribeca (side note: one of my fave NYC neighborhoods) where guests got to see this very exciting collection that takes inspiration from an “American gone abroad” and revisits founder and designer Ernest Sabine’s experience living in Venice and the midsummer nights he had in his youth.

Tailored pieces like double-breasted blazers, suits, outerwear, plus oh-so fine linen shorts, cotton shirts and the ultimate accessory: handsomely designed briefcases that feature camouflage prints and bold colors.
Why I love this brand? Clean designs. Covetable colors. Out-of-the-box style.

Arm Candy: Nella Bella F/W 11
The Nella Bella F/W 11 presentation, was definitely one of the highlights of my week. I know I say this all the time, but when you see the video you’ll understand what I’m talking about. I had such an AMAZING time. So many faces, so many hugs, kisses, laughter, GOOD FOOD, and the drinks… oh my G-d it was heavenly in there! For real. I felt so blessed to be amongst all these people that came out and showed their support for Tarek and his team. The festivities took place at the Design Exchange, where we all got a chance to see the new Nella Bella F/W 11 collection, for both the men and the women. Now that’s how you do it.
I loved the collection, let me tell you why. I’m really selective about my arm candy, simply because I’m big on comfort. I saw a NUMBER of pieces that I would be very very comfortable rocking. Oh man and the colours. I got all excited over the salmon pieces, I almost _ _ _ _ _ _ myself. lol. There was also a raffle (I won some Appleton Estate Jamaican Rum!), and some awesome swag that attendees were treated to, at the end of the night. To round it up, it was a great collection, real good vibes, good food, delicious drinks, tonnes of love in the room. Success.

Big shout-out to everyone, or as Alexxuss/Nicole would say “our little fashion family” that came out and supported Nella Bella; it was truly a pleasure to spend another evening with you all.
