IMAX Born to be Wild @AMNH

Narrated by Academy-Award® winner Morgan Freeman, Born to be Wild is an inspiring story of love, dedication, and the remarkable bond between humans and animals. This film documents orphaned orangutans and elephants and the extraordinary people who rescue and raise them— saving endangered species one life at a time. Stunningly captured in IMAX, Born to be Wild is a heartwarming adventure that transports moviegoers into the lush rainforests of Borneo with world-renowned primatologist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas, and across the rugged Kenyan savannah with celebrated elephant authority Dame Daphne M. Sheldrick, as they and their teams rescue, rehabilitate, and return these incredible animals back to the wild.

Born to be wild takes you on an amazing journey to see the family of orphaned orangutans and elephants and the people who raise them. It is unbelievable cute and heartwarmingly candid. Seeing the baby elephants dive into the African red earth and the swinging orangutans makes your realize the power of love.

    Journey to the Stars

Out of the galaxy of men – I found a shooting star. I went to the AMNH today with him after brunch and it was celestial way to spend a winter Saturday in NY. Where to take a girl for a first date… How about space?   Perfect. I even wore my NYX Glitter Cream Palette 12 One Night in Luxy for this special occasion.

The special Journey to the Stars exhibit is a 45 minute IMAX experience… In this all-new Space Show narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, travel 13 billion years into the past, when the first stars were born. Visit the heart of our fiery Sun, and glimpse its eventual demise some five billion years in the future.
