We have been in our new house for nearly 6 months and we love it! We got some new items like a dining table, a new bed, a new sofa set, and some chairs too. Decorating a house takes time and we spent a lot of our budget on the floors, the ceiling and painting so we are taking our time in getting decorations!

A really easy to way to bring some ‘life’ into a room is with art, and with Christmas coming up – if you don’t want to put up a tree and all that, you can actually do that spending less than $50!  Christmas backdrops are all the craze now. These are photographs that are high quality and brings a cool decorative element into any living space. I think it will be awesome to have this set up for a baby or pet photoshoot if you are into making family Christmas cards! They have various sizes available too.

Photography backdrops are going to be something I will definitely be investing in since we have baby on the way in the next 9 short weeks! What a cool way to make your home Insta-ready and have some fun backgrounds for month-by-month pic of baby and Cami.  Isn’t this one so pretty?

Also we are waiting to redo/retile our fireplace next year so maybe in the meantime, we can fill the space with Brick Backdrops?  Which one do you like? I do miss the exposed brick look that is so New York City but these pretty options really stand out to me.
