    H&M Newest Collaboration Frenzy

I know I am not the only one on the West Coast that set their alarms for 5am to logon to H&M for the newest Balmain collection!  Like many others, the site crashed was disappointing and now I will be driving to the nearest location to see what scraps I am left with.

IMG_5340669046797H&M has been so successful with their many collaborations like Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Alexander Wang.  I personally got an amazing score of a bracelet from the Jimmy Choo collab and it is still one of my very favorite pieces. It is really nice to get a piece of Vogue in your closet for H&M prices right?

A lot of people are betting on who the next one will be in this article and I am hoping it will be Marc Jacobs!  I love their pop culture colors, NYC look and cool, wearable designs. But it might be a stretch since Marc by Marc Jacobs is already kind of like H&M pricing anyway.   This is a really great way to bring the high brow fashion brands into the masses so we can all enjoy fashion for fashion sake.

After seeing the preview on nitrolicious.com, I am obsessed!!

So off I go to Caesar’s Forum! I have my eye on this dress. Wish me luck.

    The Long-Sleeve Minidress

Trend alert! The long-sleeve minidress is this season’s staple silhouette and I love it. I want one! Look how these lovelies are rocking it.

    NYE at the Borrough’s
Sienna Miller in Balmain ($20,000 dress+ omg)
Blake Lively aka Serena on Gossip Girl

Wear your LSMiniDress with stilettos to show off your legs! I think they look the best short, with a boat neck and embellished. There are amazing ones at FCUK, ASOS, YesStyle.com and on Polyvore of couse. I love this look because I think it’s so flattering for most body types. I have been seeing this in Japanese Street Fashion for years.
This is how I wanna rock it.

What do you think of the LSMD trend? Rock it or pass?

    Christophe Decarnin for BALMAIN

Designer Christophe Decarnin during Paris Fashion Week 2009. This is what a fashion designer looks like. House of Balmain was sizzling hot on the runways and he is the man behind the vision. This is my new favorite fashion visionary!

    LOVE
Paris bubbled with subtly sexy shows but few matched the high voltage vampiness of Christophe Decarnin’s punky collection for Balmain. For autumn, the designer took his signature party clothes up a gear with crystal lightening flashes on seriously micro-mini skirts, leopard print skin-tight trousers and some brilliantly cut tux jackets.
