Ese Borha and Bella Mumba #shotbysony More fun, more love, and more fashion from World MasterCard Fashion Week SS14! Day 3 and Day 5 were probably the most fun days for me this season. I enjoyed the shows (LOVED the Maison Matthew Gallagher and Christopher Bates shows!), I literally laughed till my belly ached a few times, we were #shotbysony and of course the highlights of my day were hanging out with my blogger/fashionista peeps new and old, during, and after the shows.

Event LOVE: @WMCFashionWeek Funtimes pt.1
Fun times with some of our favourite bloggers, media and fashionistas during World MasterCard Fashion Week ss14 World MasterCard Fashion Week strutted into town with so much fabulousness that it swept us off of our stilettos; leaving us with a plethora of awesome memories, and seriously lusting after some of the pieces that we saw on the runway/studio!
The volunteers were amazing this season! The weather was terrible this season, but that didn’t stop us from coming out to play and reconnecting with our favourite fashionistas! The tents were buzzing with fashion talk, the Ritz Carlton was serving some delicious macarons and apple cider, there lots of hugs and kisses from all the men and women connecting and reconnecting while they excitedly waited to see the shows, , did I mention that everyone was dressed so nicely?! We also got to catch up with some of our favourite fashion blogger friends as well as make new ones! It was a fantastic day one!

Event LOVE: Osteria dei Ganzi Media Patio Party @GanziToronto
Even though we’ve been having some roller coaster weather lately, last Thursday was all sunshine, and the perfect day for the Osteria dei Ganzi Patio Party. I had so much fun at the media preview a few weeks ago, so there was no way that I was going to miss it; I knew that I was in for some good vibes, good food (I loved the risotto balls, and the risotto!), and good drinks! We were welcomed with a refreshing and tasty signature sangria, and then showered with delicious traditional Italian treats, and bubbly. It was glorious!

Event LOVE: Exclusive Re-launch of @CasaBacardi
It was a warm sunny day and we were hanging out on the terrace of the Deq Lounge at the Ritz Carlton celebrating the re-launch of Casa Bacardi It was nice out so this was the perfect way to enjoy the sunshine while sipping on some of the most unique cocktails. I got to try a number of the cocktails, I think I would have been a hot ass mess if I tried them all, but the ones I had were delicious. And the food? Lawd the food was so good. The margherita pizza? Heavenly. The risotto balls? Damn… so damn good! It was definitely the perfect way to end the day!

Event LOVE: Passion For Fashion Awards @PassionFashion
A few of us gathered at the Toronto Fashion Incubator for the fourth annual Passion For Fashion Awards. It was an intimate evening that started off with a cocktail reception, where we all got to sip on cocktails, snack on hors d’oeuvres and talk fashion naturally lol. Then it was time for a presentation which featured the Passion For Fashion finalists, and the announcement of the winners of the Fashionista’s Den Competition.

Event LOVE Catch Up: TQ Digital x Karl Lagerfield Exclusive Watch Collection Launch @TCHADQuarterly
After the last show of World MasterCard Fashion Week, we all headed over to Shangri-la for the Karl Lagerfield Exclusive Watch Collection launch hosted by the men of TCHAD Quarterly. I’m all kinds of mad, that my phone and camera were pretty much dead from all the pics and video at took at the tents, but I managed to get a few shots of some of the pieces.
I liked majority of the collection; it’s sleek, edgy, but still very classy just like Karl! I was loving the double straps with the zipper detail, and even though I probably wouldn’t be able to keep the clean, I was digging the watches and accessories with the white straps
The men of TCHAD effortlessly rocking pieces from the collection. The one George (right) is wearing is my fave!!
I totally wanna be Karled! I need that all black watch in my life like yesterday!
Once my camera and phone officially died, I focused on the yummy signature Grey Goose Cherry Noir cocktails, rubbed shoulders/hugged/shared a couple air kisses with all the lovely people that came out, and jammed to the live band who were giving me life as they covered top 40 tracks!
