With @velourlashes @occmakeup @KJBennettBeauty and @stilaPROartist, we knew that IMATS was back and it’s bigger and better than ever! I went down to Pier 94 all the way on the west side to see what was buzzing at IMATS.

Inglot Cosmetics Makeup Courses
Last week I visited Inglot Cosmetics’ flagship studio in Chelsea Market for a class on Smokey Eye makeup application. The studio is a bit of a hidden gem, located on the 5th floor of Chelsea Market, but definitely worth a visit! It doubles as a retail space, open to professionals and consumers alike.
For professionals, Inglot also has a photo studio and all the necessary equipment available for photo shoots.

Let everything in the world inspire you! I saw the Kelis video for Acapella while lunching with Joey and just love her makeup.
As you know, I have more makeup than a department store and I just love experimenting.
To get this look I used the Make Up For Ever Flash Palette (gold/silver), the Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow in Neon Pink 75, lashes and OCC LipTar in Anime. Then I finished the look with Inglot Body Sparkle 56 all blown all over my face. If you don’t have an airbrush or a friend, put your hair dryer on cold, spray a makeup setter like Maya Water then just blast the glitter in your face once.

The New York IMATs show was completely sold out. When I arrived on Saturday afternoon the venue was already buzzing with industry people and regular makeup junkies looking for a great deal.
The line up for Inglot was around 75 people deep and remained packed the entire time. I saw my buddies Ann and Andrew selling Freedom Palettes like hotcakes. A lot of familiar faces. Here is Liz Yu from Toronto, the owner of Yaby cosmetics…

Inglot AMC Cream Foundation
While I was at The Makeup Show LA, I got the Inglot AMC Cream Foundation. This foundation gives a great medium coverage. I’m not really into putting on lots of foundation so the light weight consistency is a huge plus. It comes in 20 colors and it just so happened that the one foundation I got in my bag was the perfect match for my skin color!
How great is that? I’d say it gives me more coverage than i’d want for everyday since I like a light, natural look day to day. I give this foundation a thumbs up! Love Inglot! If you haven’t already try their stuff! They are starting to open up more stores to join their US stores (Miami, LA, NY, Las Vegas, and New Jersey).
