Septembre always has the prettiest and coolest nail designs, and I think I love them even more because she does them herself. I suck at painting my finger nails (9 times out of ten it just turns out to be a damn mess) so I’m pretty much blown away and extremely envious every time I see Septembre with a new design… *sigh*
I recently decided to “give life” to my nails, and although my designs aren’t nearly as exciting as Septembre’s, I think I’m off to a good start; especially because this time the nail polish was on my finger nails, instead of all over my fingers and hands, the floor, the couch etc.
I’m hoping to start doing more exciting designs as time goes by, but for now this will do.

Accent Finger Mani
While I was in Cancun, I developed a new hobby—painting my nails in fun, funky colors. With my flexible schedule, I had plenty of time to give myself manis and pedis full of TLC. 🙂
I first started doing the “accent finger” in February after I went to an event and received a mani by Logo TV’s “A-List” star, TJ Kelly. After he “spiced” my eggplant purple mani with a yellow accent nail (Ginger + Liz lacquer), there was no going back for me! I loved the look. There are so many fun color combinations!!
He also gave me a lil’ bling!

I LOVE the look of long beautiful nails but I’m tired of striping my nails by getting fakes! That’s why I spoke my dear friend Kate the other day about her nail creations!

Why: Fed up and disappointed by the selection of nail art available at the nail salon she was going to, Kate decided to do nail art herself. Having stocked up on a large amount of supplies she started making and selling one of a kind hand painted glue-on nails, which are very popular in Asia.
Cost range: Between $10 and $30, depending. She has also started to sell nail art supplies (not created by Kate), that will probably be in the $1 to $10 range.
