Ever since I saw March of the Penguins a few years ago, my respect and interest for these cute little birds have dramatically increased. Did you know that they are serially monogamous and after the mother lays the egg – it is actually the father who endures the bitter cold to hatch it?  Amazing.

So for Valentine’s Day this year – I made my sweetie pie the cutest penguin waffles.

This waffle maker was really hard to find but I was able to locate it with help of my amazing friend Fiona and her brother.

So here it is!
