I can’t believe it’s already the middle of February already; this means Canadian Music Week is just around the corner! yayyyyyy!
I know it’s a couple weeks away, but with time flying the way it is, it may as well be tomorrow.
So seeing as we should ALL care about and support talent in Canada, it’s only right that I tell you about Audio Blood’s first ever Canadian Music Week showcase taking place this year at El Mocambo (464 Spadina Ave.).
The showcase, which will be held on Thursday, March 11th; is put-on in part with Canadian Music Fest and Exclaim.ca, and will feature Audio Blood artists: Leif Vollebekk, The Darcys, Clothes Make the Man, Make Your Exit, Sandman Viper Command, and friends – We Are the City.

Weekend of Love
Saturday was an adventure. It started with a phone call from my girl Heather and we went to find ‘happy hour’ spots in Hollywood was to our liking. We started at Well… then to Velvet Margarita… then briefly to Jane’s House, then ended at the Village Idiot.
Everyone seemed a little too tense because of the pre-Valentine’s Day pressures, non conventional non-relationships but nothing that can’t be cured by cocktails. I wasn’t crazy about this place but I do love the wallpaper. (it might be upside down.. not sure)

Fashion Show, Beijing, Me
Hi all, it is now Chinese Lunar New year in Hong Kong and everybody is busy asking for red pockets(‘Lai See’ with money inside) from the married couples!!! I will have to work extra hard this year as it will be my last year to do so!!!! Just can’t miss the chance(as you can’t ask for red pocket anymore after you get married:), but you will have to give instead!!!!:(

The Olympic games have started and Vancouver is the place to be! There is so much buzz and inspiration around Olympic fashion! As you all know, Team Canada is outfitted by the Hudson Bay Company via a $100 million contract from 2006-2012.
TEAM CANADAand Team USA is outfitted by Ralph Lauren.
Coca-Cola is one of the first major marketers to embark on a zero-waste, carbon-neutral sponsorship of an event as complex as the Olympic Games. Kudos to corporates taking a global stance!
Outfit made of recycled pop bottles in front of a hybrid-electric truck in VancouverVANOC also created an award, the “Sustainability Star” to recognize partners for their efforts. Coca-Cola was one of the first corporate sponsors to receive the award. Ah-mazing!
