She wanted to let other curlies know as to why she avoid certain ingredients in Jessicurl products.
Jessicurl products don’t use any silicones. By using ingredients that IMPROVE the health of your hair rather than hiding damage, the result is a more vibrant head of curls.
You’ll note the ingredients lists for Jessicurl Spiralicious Styling Gel does contain a drying alcohol. Ethanol, to be exact. Their bottles of Spiralicious contain about 7/10ths of 1% ethanol. It’s a necessary part in making Polyquaternium 69, one of the ingredients we use in that gel. However, the amount of ethanol is so low in this gel that it doesn’t have any negative effects. It’s been used on curlies around the world for well over a year now. They have never had a single report of it causing dryness. There ARE, however, certain types of alcohols that are actually good for the hair. These are what give that creamy consistency to most conditioners. The good ones are Lauryl alcohol, Cetyl alcohol, Myristyl alcohol, Stearyl alcohol, Cetearyl alcohol and Behenyl alcohol. The bad ones are SD alcohol, SD alcohol 40, Alcohol denat, Propanol, Propyl alcohol and Isopropyl alcohol. You’ll never find any of the bad ones in any of Jessicurl products and should avoid them all together. They’re really just horrible for curly hair.

Plush earpads and cushy headband padding place the revised 300-ohm transducers at the optimal distance from the ear resulting in a spacious soundstage with an abundance of detail — even for extended musical exploration. The transducer surround drops the resonant frequency from 110 Hz (original HD 660S) down to 70 Hz for hefty kick drums that move with ease. Even the outer mesh grilles are crafted to manage airflow at the ideal impedance for exquisite open-back listening sessions.
Versatile enough to connect to vintage classics and modern solutions alike, the HD 660S2 ships with two 1.8 meter (5.8 ft) user-detachable cables that terminate to 6.3 mm (1/4-inch) single-ended stereo and 4.4 mm balanced stereo jack plugs, respectively. “People want to date people who are financially responsible, especially as high inflation continues to put stress on many Americans’ wallets. In fact, half of Americans would break up with their significant other if they spent irresponsibly,” said WalletHub Analyst Jill Gonzalez. “If you’re looking to settle down, it’s a good idea to make sure you have a decent credit score, as over 47% of people would not marry someone with bad credit. Bad credit can cause someone to lose hundreds of thousands of dollars over their lifetime, so that statistic is unsurprising. Thankfully, people with bad credit are able to improve their credit score over time if they stick to a budget and practice responsible credit use.”

“Men are nearly 45% more likely than women to think that a Valentine’s Day gift is worth going into credit card debt, according to WalletHub’s new Valentine’s Day Spending Survey. Some of the reasons for this discrepancy likely include societal expectations for dating and historical gender roles. Even if we can explain this statistic, though, that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing. Buying a gift is never worth going into debt, especially during this period of high inflation. Luckily, 23% of Americans are already expecting their partners to spend less this year, so there’s less pressure to break the bank,” said WalletHub Analyst Jill Gonzalez. “People who can’t afford to spend much this Valentine’s Day can consider alternative gifts. For example, a handmade gift can often hold a lot more meaning than an expensive object.”
Do you have any tips for how singles can get their finances relationship-ready?
“Some of the biggest turnoffs when it comes to romantic partners are bad credit and irresponsible spending. Both can reflect negatively on a person’s future earnings and how they might behave in other areas of life. Single people who have a problem with overspending or who have bad credit might want to work on improving their financial situation before trying to date,” said WalletHub Analyst Jill Gonzalez. “Some of the best first steps to take include increasing the amount of money you save or use to pay off debts, making fewer non-essential purchases and sticking to a budget. You should also monitor your credit score and credit report on a regular basis, as well as look for ways to boost your income. Taking time to improve your finances may lead to better romantic prospects.”
