New way for students to eat healthy during finals
(and all school year long)
It’s no secret that many students don’t eat properly. Whether its skipping breakfast, eating fast food for lunch or having a calorie-loaded dinner, it is hard for students to get the right nutrition and eat healthy. For example, with over 31 million Americans skipping breakfast each day, including millions of students, there is a tremendous need for foods that are fast to prepare, nutritious and affordable. Research has also shown that 59% of college students were classified as food insecure at some point during a recent school year, meaning they were not able to eat nutritious, safe foods consistently.
With finals coming up, it is more important than ever for students to get the nourishment their bodies require at this crucial time of the school year. To help students of all ages get the nutrition they need, Huel, the most popular complete nutrition brand in Europe, is now available in the United States. The brand is huge all around the world and has sold over 40 million meals across 80 countries. Huel sells a wide variety of Ready-to-drink meals and powders, making nutrition fast, easy and affordable.

Huel Natural Flavor Boosts, now with 100% natural flavors and sweetener. Huel has redesigned their existing flavors to make them even more delicious and launched some exciting new ones too. Add them to your Huel Powder to customize its flavor.
Each Flavor Boost pouch contains 150g of flavor. The flavors currently available are:
- Chocolate Mint
- Apple Cinnamon
How to use:
These flavors have been designed to work perfectly with your favorite Huel Powder.
Huel suggests you start with 2% flavor to the volume of Huel. So, for example, start with 2g of flavor (half a teaspoon) per 100g of Huel and then adjust if necessary. If you are measuring in scoops, you need to add approximately 1g per scoop of Huel (so for 1 scoop of 50g you need to add around a quarter of a teaspoon).
This means that there are roughly 75 servings per pouch.
Huel is far superior nutrition to most conventional diets. Huel can replace any meal or even as a between-meal snack. In this way it can be an add-on improvement to your diet to ensure you’re giving your body what it needs.
I am so happy that I started my journey with Huel. First, I love the flavor so much, it can totally satisfy a sweet tooth person like me. Second, it is so healthy and affordable, when I check the nutrition box, I was shocked by how great their ingredients is! Last but not least, zero food waste!
For those days I need food but I don’t want to cook, Huel is my life saver. I don’t need to waste a lot of time to prepare a meal and I don’t need to wait for my online order. Huel is right there for a great tasty and easy meal. It is perfect for a busy person, also perfect for all the people who ever skipped their meals. From now on, you can just carry a Huel and you have all you need in one bottle!
Huel can be a sweet gift for the coming Father’s Day. Let your dad know you care about him – never skip the breakfast anymore.
Every season, despite the exhaustion and the sore feet; as soon as fashion week struts into the city, we excitedly rush to the tents without any questions asked. My favourite thing about fashion week was really getting to hang out with all my friends, and I was so blessed to make some new ones as well. There was something kinda playful in the air this season, as you can totally tell by majority of the pictures and videos that I have posted.
Everyone was very easy going, friendly, chatty, I even got a few people to dance with me! It was awesome. We just wanted to see some good shows, while hanging out with great company, and that’s what we got. I have so many wonderful and hilarious memories from this season of World MasterCard Fashion Week, and it wouldn’t have been possible without all of you, so THANK YOU 🙂 Ese, thank you for matching my crazy this season, you were great!
*big fat kisses*
ps: My favourite shows: NARCES, Maison Matthew Gallagher, Target, David Dixon, Caitlin Power, Travis Taddeo, Cara Cheung, Laura Siegel, MBStartUp and Christopher Bates. What were yours?
I woke up really excited on Wednesday morning, and couldn’t get myself to the newly renovated Arcadian Court quickly enough to watch the 9th annual White Cashmere Collection. I’m always really excited to see this show, simply because I’m always blown away when I see how ordinary bathroom tissue, is transformed into beautiful fashion pieces. This year my mind was not spared, and was definitely blown. The show began with an awesome acrobatic performance, followed by some words from the host of the event, long-time supporter of the collection and breast cancer survivor, Canada AM’s co-host Beverly Thomson, and then we got to hear the lovely Lolitta Dandoy’s touching story about how she survived breast cancer. Then it was time for the show!
What is the White Cashmere Collection? “It’s Canada’s annual celebration of Fashion with Compassion. A fund-and-awareness-raiser for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, in support of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s vision of a future without breast cancer. More than 100 Canadian designers have participated to-date!”
Rodney Philpott– “…sultry slit-to-the-hip sheath is crafted from BT “lace” and strewn from shoulder to the hem of its train with white flowers and petals.
Suhaila Niazi– “…delectable layer cake of a gown… complete with a pink ‘fondant’ bodice and tiered skirts ‘frosted’ with elaborate flowers and edged in beaded ‘icing’.”
Adrian Wu- “…great knotted and woven ropes that coil around the torso while its draped skirt balloons to the floor.”
LABEL– “…delicious, dangerously short dance dress… smooth strapless bodice with a frothy skirt created from layer upon layer of pink and white BT”
Lucci Rojas– “…delicate, painstakingly pleated and folded pennants of pink and white BT ‘fabric’ flutter to the knees where a graceful white floor-length skirt takes over.”
Golnaz Ashtiani– “…beautiful floral brocade effect from Cashmere BT ‘fabric’… with dramatic cone-like volumes…for the BT Couture Collection.”
Izzy Camilleri– “…party dress entirely constructed of hundreds of BT blossoms, in white Cashmere Envirocare.”
Laura Siegel– “…intriguingly draped and layered dress…textural interest by adding a chunky knit shawl.”
Joel Bissonnette-“…seductive thigh-slit, halter-neck dress features a slim, tiered skirt and a cheeky corseted waist.”
Cara Cheung-“…sharp shoulders, rhinestoned seaming, ready-for-anything short flowered skirt, and cape-like overskirt.”
Anomal Couture, Sonia Leclair-“…sensual cut-out gown…crafted from essentially linked lingerie elements.”
David Jack-“…aerodynamically sleek couture… takes flight with aileron-like peplums at the hips and a flowing BT fabric train.”
the train was giving me life!!

le fun times!
The White Cashmere Collection was curated by Canadian fashion designer Farley Chatto, and paid homage to Classic Hollywood Glamour. It was a lovely show, and I’m so happy that I was able to experience another year!
FYI: BT stands for bathroom tissue 🙂
ps: You can also view the collection and support the cause by joining Cashmere’s unique Vote Couture for the Cure initiative on Facebook until November 19th. Fans are invited to vote for their favourite design and Cashmere will donate $1 per vote, to the Foundation in the winning designers name. So after day two of World MasterCard Fashion Week, we were pretty disappointed and a little worried that the rest of Fashion Week was going to be um… boring. But as you can see from the picture, Mo and I had lots of fun! Bustle, LINE, VAWK, Cara Cheung and Melissa Nepton were some of my favourite shows.
Highlights of the day?
- Stacey McKenzie on the BUSTLE runway. She killed the runway, and the crowd was crazy with excitement!
- The women in the crowd shamelessly flirting with the male models during the BUSTLE show. There was winking, lip licking, whistling… you name it they were doing it lol.
A video for your viewing pleasure 🙂
peace and love
ps: awesome street style pics coming up next!
