Disclosure: I’m participating in the Break Up with Your Makeup Blogger Contest Sponsored by Galderma Laboratories, L.P.

Recently, I have been trying to break up with Makeup – Concealer and foundations mostly. If you walk around NYC, you will notice that most women are barefaced!  They do wear eye make up and maybe a touch of BB cream but foundation is way too heavy for this summer heatwave. The key to good skin is radiance, evenness and no red spots. I’m lucky to have never experienced symptoms of rosacea, but many of my close friends have. Rosacea is a treatable, chronic inflammatory skin condition and one of the most common symptoms is persistent facial redness. It’s estimated that 16MM Americans are affected by the condition.

Unfortunately, not many people know it is treatable and instead cake on the makeup to conceal the redness. There is a brand new product on the market now called Mirvaso, the only FDA-approved treatment for the persistent redness of rosacea.  Mirvaso is hosting this sweepstakes to raise awareness of the treatment, encouraging people to Break Up with Your Makeup. Mirvaso works fast, providing same-day results that last up to 12 hours before the redness returns, leaving users red-carpet ready!

If you would like to treat your skin and win this Cetaphil Collection – Tweet or IG @HEYDOYOU your bareface with no makeup! (Can be DM)
    Good luck!

    Cetaphil Face Cleanser

I swear by this stuff. I’m talking about the Cetaphil Gentle Face Cleanser. Really lame story of how I discovered Cetaphil but I’ll tell it anyway. So a few years ago probably at least 5 years ago I’d say? I was reading on Seventeen mag’s website’s Beauty Tips. There was a feature asking models about their skin care routine and a few of the girls mentioned Cetaphil so I decided to try it. BEST PURCHASE EVER!

Cetaphil for sensitive skin is like a gel and does NOT foam. It’s super smooth, has no scent, and its great for all skin types even safe enough to use on babies. Makes your skin SO soft. I even use it as a makeup remover around my eyes. It doesn’t irritate my eyes like a lot of makeup removers do.

I used to have pretty bad skin. Horrid blemishes. After using Cetaphil my skin started clearing up. I really do swear by this stuff. If you’ve been jumping cleanser to cleanser try this one! Its less than $15 depending where you get it and its a huge bottle that’ll last you a long time.
