H&M Newest Collaboration Frenzy
I know I am not the only one on the West Coast that set their alarms for 5am to logon to H&M for the newest Balmain collection! Like many others, the site crashed was disappointing and now I will be driving to the nearest location to see what scraps I am left with.
H&M has been so successful with their many collaborations like Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Alexander Wang. I personally got an amazing score of a bracelet from the Jimmy Choo collab and it is still one of my very favorite pieces. It is really nice to get a piece of Vogue in your closet for H&M prices right?A lot of people are betting on who the next one will be in this article and I am hoping it will be Marc Jacobs! I love their pop culture colors, NYC look and cool, wearable designs. But it might be a stretch since Marc by Marc Jacobs is already kind of like H&M pricing anyway. This is a really great way to bring the high brow fashion brands into the masses so we can all enjoy fashion for fashion sake.

So off I go to Caesar’s Forum! I have my eye on this dress. Wish me luck.

What She Wore: Recap of @WMCFashionWeek #ootd
I get really excited and frustrated when World MasterCard Fashion Week comes around, because I have no clue what to wear lol. I’m excited for all the fashion goodness, but when it comes to dressing myself, I’m a total wreck. This season, I did what I always do, BRIGHT COLOURS. I figured people won’t really notice how nice, or not so nice your outfits are, when there are nice and bright colours to distract them lol. So my approach this season was keep it simple, and O.D. on lots of colour, prints and head wraps. As for my make-up, I chose to keep that simple as well; clean face, winged eyes, and a burgundy lip. I planned on wearing my fro out this season, but the weather was crazy honey, so that wasn’t happening! Here’s what I wore during 5 of some of the the most fashionable days in Toronto 🙂
DAY ONE
I had just gotten off work, and I was exhausted. It was cold outside, and I was feeling blue… I was also late so I had to think quickly lol

The mustard and the camo headwrap just seemed like a good idea… and as long as the colours were popping, I was cool with it 🙂

DAY THREE
I had the day off and the chance to take a long and glorious nap, so I was feeling more fashion week-y on day three! Plus, this jumpsuit was TIGHT when I first bought it, so you can only imagine the JOY I felt, when I put it on and it fit! I had to rock it!

The “Big Red Bow” was a hit during fashion week, and this is the first time I’d ever tied my headwrap like this. Success!
I was feeling fun, flirty and girly, so this dress was a natural choice!

I really didn’t know what to wear for day five, I was tired from all the shows and events, and just needed a nap; but once I remembered that I had this dress that I bought in the UK almost a year ago, everything fell into place 🙂

Selena Gomez to Co-Host the 2011 MMVA’s
“I am thrilled and honored to host the MuchMusic Video Awards” said Selena Gomez. “I look forward to seeing all my Canadian fans and kicking off the summer together.”

H&M Fashion Against Aids
Bella and I went down to check out the brand new collection at H&M that`s Fashion Against Aids at the Queen St flagship store. Even though it was pouring rain, lots of yummy food, fierce fashion and amazing live music.
H&M knows how to throw a party and get us all in the mood to shop! Check out what we saw! Go shop this weekend and help an amazing cause.
