Look at little Jay Strut!
Founded in 1978, Diesel is a fashion industry legend. A pioneer in the world of denim and casual wear, it has always remained both outside and ahead of trends. Never forsaking its original DNA, it has evolved into an iconic global lifestyle brand with a flagship store in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood (92 Yorkville), Yorkdale Mall and Montreal, Quebec (2114 de la Montagne).
ONEXONE (onexone.org) was founded on the principles that every single life is infinitely precious and that each person can make a profound difference in someone else’s life, one by one. This charity was founded by Diesel Canada’s president and CEO Joey Adler in 2005. ONEXONE’s vision is to improve the lives of children in Canada, the USA and abroad with programs dedicated to alleviate hunger and provides access to health care.
The 4th annual Frocktail Party was a huge success with more than 600 guests who came out to support the JDRF. This year’s event had a record breaking auction – nearly doubling the previous years raising $30,000. The Frocktail Party 2012 raised a total of over $55,000 which brings the four year total to nearly $150,000.
Some of this year’s auction highlights include a custom suit from Garrison Bespoke taking the title of highest selling item, Suzanne Rogers Marchesa gown was the highest selling dress and the Smythe blazer donated by eLUXE sparked a major bidding war.
Notable guests from the evening were Suzanne Rogers, Johnny Hockin, Tommy Ton, Stephen and Kirk from Greta Constantine, Jenna Bitove, Ainsley Kerr and John Muscat from Line Knitwear and Fashion Blogger Jay Strut.
