Introducing my new kitty, Maxwell Squeaks!
“Squeaky,” as he often goes by, was rescued by a neighbor of mine and then I adopted him. When I brought him home, he was pretty friendly and followed me around the house wherever I went. But a few days in, he became such a “scaredy cat,” spending his time hiding out under the couch or running frantically back to his hideout whenever anyone entered the room. I worried that we’d have bonding issues and I’d be stuck scooping poop for a kitty who never wanted to play with me for the rest of his life. Fortunately, after about a week, he finally came around.
Squeaks is now a happily adjusted kitten with tons of energy. He does not stop, but with that comes plenty of free entertainment. He’s constantly nipping or licking at your feet or hands, or anything body part that you’re trying to use at the time. And when he’s hunger, he “squeaks” rather than meows to let you know it’s feeding time.

Maxwell Afterparty
Man it’s getting chilly here in Toronto! The perfect way to accessorize is with pattern tights, cozy scarves and a hunnybunny. Like I always say to guys, if you want a winter wifey to play X-box with you in Nov, start dating her in September. Hhahha.. More on that soon on tips on locking in a winter wifey. Maxwell: BLACK summers’night Tour
This tour is hitting Toronto at the perfect time for me, so I thought I’d notify all of u… in case its your due-time too!!! As much as I have loved Maxwell since the days of ‘Ascension’ and ‘This Womans Work’, I’ve reached an age now where I can honestly relate to his lyrics from past experiences (instead of just falling infatuate to his lulling voice and melodic rhythms). This time, with BLACK summers’night he’s managed to attract me from every angle and produce tracks that give strength and courage while romanticising the coldest heart!!!
September 25th is the date so SAVE IT! He’s turning the ACC in to his own playground and he will have us all in the palm of his hand… I can’t wait!!!Here’s the lyrics to ‘Pretty Wings’… they grabbed me from the first verse and held me until the last note:Time will bring the real end of our trial

Maxwell ~ BLACKsummers’night
Maxwell’s fourth studio album and first in eight years, BLACKsummers’night is set for release on July 7th.
Maxwell is a cutie forreal and his new album may be one of those, let’s cry over our ex albums. We will see right? I think the eight years since his last album have been – shall we say – eventful? Drama in your life is not always a bad thing… and in this case, it is food for thought and fuel for fire. If your life is routine and stable – what are you going to write about? What are you going to sing about? Heartbreak is inevitable – if you are really going to live your life. If you are the kind of person that only dates someone if THEY like you more… you will never ever ever ever experience the highs and lows of love. There is a saying in Chinese which means you need to taste the sour to know the sweet. My mom always says – a peaceful life is a blessed life. I think the trials and tribulations make you a better person.
