Day ONE of New York Fashion Week and last night’s Joseph Abboud Runway Show could not have been a better kickoff point!
Back after a seven-year absence, all American designer Joseph Abboud showcased his Fall/Winter 2012 Collection of perfectly tailored and sophisticated Menswear at The Marine & Aviation Terminal, Pier 57. With the spotlight on Bernardo Rojo, the creative brains behind the operation, the crowd couldn’t have been more pleased. The color scheme was generally neutral—mostly grey and beige tones with maroon occasionally.

Milk Studios
Another venue for Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week is at Milk Studios. In the heart of the Meatpacking District, the multi-level and multi-functional space opened it massive doors and loft size elevators to the fashion crazed crowd. Even with a more than 5 presentations, and 8 floors available, everything was squished on 2/F, 8/F and PH. What does that mean? A fashion zoo elevator fiasco.
So up we went to PH to see the presentation of Billy Reid
no one told us about this… guess it was the exit strategy
