In partnership with professional makeup artist Ve Neill, NYX Professional Makeup introduces a twisted take on the classic tale, Alice in Wonderland – Wonderland After Dark. In her first-ever beauty partnership, Neill created six unique looks exclusive for the NYX Professional Makeup community. Each twisted character concept comes as part of a curated bundle of product with an exclusive digital tutorial and virtual try-on technology, making it easier than ever for all makeup lovers, from beauty enthusiasts to artistry professionals, to re-create the looks.
Within each “Wonderland After Dark” bundle, fans will also discover a NEW NYX Professional Makeup product launch – Glow-On Lip Gloss. This blacklight-activated lip gloss instantly transforms to reveal an intense neon pigment with mirror-like shine. Starting today, all six product bundles are available for purchase, including: Ace & Spade (graphically gorgeous joker), Alex (wildly curious zombie), Bunni (dark, twisted rabbit), The Queen (blood-thirsty vampire), Topsy-Turvy (colorfully scary skull) and Kitty Kat (psychedelic feline) at NYXCosmetics.com and NYX Professional Makeup Stores nationwide.
In keeping with its digital heritage, launched on October 1, NYX Professional Makeup will also offer a virtual try-on feature for all six looks on their website. The hyper-realistic try-on tool includes first-to-market blacklight technology, which allows fans to see the Glow-On Lip Gloss activate in real time.
“Ve Neill is the ultimate definition of a true professional makeup artist,” says Yann Joffredo, Global Brand President. “As a brand rooted in professional artistry for all, we are thrilled to take our long-standing relationship to the next level with this exclusive collaboration. Wonderland After Dark represents our limitless commitment to the aspiring artistry community as the #1 accessible professional brand.”
In addition to the collaboration, Neill, best known for her work on A Star is Born, Hunger Games, and Beetlejuice — returns to the FACE Awards to judge for a 7th time. Finalists will create their interpretation of the Wonderland After Dark looks for the chance to be crowned the first-ever global FACE Awards winner.
The Freedom and Artistry for Creative Expression (FACE) Awards is an annual competition hosted by NYX Professional Makeup, where aspiring makeup artists submit videos in the hopes of earning the coveted title: Artist of the Year.

This past year has been quite the whirlwind. New friends, new jobs and opportunities, new adventures, new experiences.
Experiences including LOTS of beauty products. There are a few products that I’ve discovered this year or recently fell in love with in the past year. Products and brands have a permanent spot in my collection.
Napoleon Perdis – Front Row Red Lip Gloss
A long wear dark red that I’m in LOVE with. Stays put for the entire day. The formula took a little getting used to because it is a little drying but nonetheless, the color is fabulous and super flattering on many skin tones. This has been my go-to red since I got it earlier this year!
Mehron – Celebré Pro HD Make Up
Super creamy and buildable oil-free cream makeup I like to use as foundation and concealer. I swear by this stuff! It actually stays on from morning until night, even after I get off work and head out at night! Best of all, it doesn’t make me breakout!
NYX Cosmetics – Eyeshadow Base (Skintone)
SO affordable. I got my pot at IMATS in July and I’m still using it with so much left. Only think I don’t like is that since the pot is so small and narrow that I have to use a brush to apply it instead of using a clean finger straight from the jar. It’s an amazingly creamy and effective product for under $10
Kate Somerville – ExfoliKate
Speaking as a girl with large pores that is extremely blackhead prone on my nose, this stuff is wonderful. It’s a little harsh to use all over my face but I dab some around my nose area then follow with a cooling peel off mask to fully remove all existing blackheads. Works wonders between facial treatments. Pricey but worth it!
Love these products. I’ve been using these all on a daily/regular basis for months now. Until I find other products that are just as good efficiency-wise and price-wise, I will stick with these ones! Of course there were other products I liked over the past year but these really stood out to me because I use them so much. Thanks 2011, for introducing me to them 🙂

Out of the galaxy of men – I found a shooting star. I went to the AMNH today with him after brunch and it was celestial way to spend a winter Saturday in NY. Where to take a girl for a first date… How about space? Perfect. I even wore my NYX Glitter Cream Palette 12 One Night in Luxy for this special occasion.
The special Journey to the Stars exhibit is a 45 minute IMAX experience… In this all-new Space Show narrated by Whoopi Goldberg, travel 13 billion years into the past, when the first stars were born. Visit the heart of our fiery Sun, and glimpse its eventual demise some five billion years in the future.
