    Wearable ART!

“Her collections flirt with the boundaries of convention, and exploit materials one might believe to have been invented especially for her.”

I was over at the PR Department offices this week, and couldn’t help but notice the AMAZING (and fun) jewellery by designer Anne Marie Chagnon.

Anne began creating her own jewellery and established her company in 1995, and is also a graduate of the Fine Arts Faculty of the University of Quebec in Montreal.

these bracelets were giving me life!

    love  these earrings.

    ugh yes.

“…unique designs, eye catching manifestations from a mysterious world of beauty from beyond.” AGREED.

Where has this jewellery been all my life!

    Put a Ring on it

While searching for the pink ring for PetiteFashionista today, I came across this glass ring. I want it! Cocktail rings and peach bellinis on a patio is just around the corner, so start shopping.

    Buy it here $62

Yummy enough to eat, but made of glass, these faceted cocktail rings are each slightly different. Now the general director of Phuze Design Collective in Mexico City, Orfeo Quagliata began studying glass at age 8 under his father, acclaimed Italian glass artist Narcissus Quagliata. Young Orfeo apprenticed in Catalonia before heading to San Francisco’s California College of Arts and Crafts. He and his father then teamed up on a four-year design and creation of the crystal apex dome for Michelangelo Buonarrot last architectural project: the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli e dei Martiri in Rome.

    MISSFIT NYC

Didn’t find much at Century 21 but I did find this store called PYLONES around the corner and got these glass liquid cube rings! Love it!

Shopping in NY is a crazy mission. There is literally so much stuff that you have to sort them in your mind before you sort them and mentally process everything you see. Some of the stores are just filled with things that belong on the clearance rank and you know that it’s totally mass produced.. But there are exceptions to every rule… I found these wicked lil shoes at Forever21. Even though the store was a disaster, I found the last pair of size 6! Meant to b!

So here I am strolling in Tribeca and i see these hand-painted tshirts and hoodies!
I grabbed a few, they are hot! I am so ready to rock my MISSFITNYC shirt with some leggings, boots and a slouchy hat. I will post about them when I get back for sure but in the mean time – check them out here: http://www.myspace.com/missfitnyc
