Meat vs. Veggies
Lately, I’ve been feeling a little weird about eating meat, as a result I’ve been buying tonnes of vegetables and secretly experimenting with vegetarian recipes (ssshhhhh :)). Make no mistake I love meat… or at least I think I do.(Because I work with food, I figured I may as well take a deeper look into the health as well as spiritual benefits of vegetariansism/veganism, and come up with some delicious ways to cook them so that they are appealing to myself and the people I’m cooking for )Would you rather have this…over…Before the idea of being a vegetarian or vegan was B-O-R-I-N-G to me, but in my journey to treat myself/my body better and become a better person; I’ve been reading a lot of books, articles etc and realized one common factor behind why people choose to be vegetariain or vegan. The killing innocent and helpless animals to satisfy our culinary desires.this? WHY?The one thing that really got me, and I read this in an article on vegetarianism and spirituality; is that, an animal experiences fear, anxiety and pain before and during the slaughter, and that fear, anxiety and pain are transfered to you when you consume this meat. What do you think?
Ever since reading that, I’ve been incorporating more greens and grains into my diet, and gradually eating less meat. Will I stop completely? Who knows, but all I know is that I can’t stop thinking about what if the tables were turned? We wouldn’t appreciate that shit… but that’s just me 🙂 What do you think?
“…killing innocent and helpless animals for the purpose of filling ones stomach is a bad karma with harmful consequences…”

All my vegetarians, tell me about why you choose not to eat animals (meat)?

Philosphy
I am flying back to LA tomorrow for this very special event in Santa Monica put on my Cosmetic Executive Women. I am so excited and will tell you all about it on Weds. If you are interested in joining CEW or attending events like this, click here.Top 10 List: How to Builda Beauty BrandCristina CarlinoFounderphilosophyTuesday, June 15, 2010Fairmont Miramar Santa MonicaSanta Monica, California6:00PM – 8:00PMA skinnovator for the past 22 years, Cristina Carlino has been the brains behind the Philosophy beauty brand since its inception. An accomplished author, inventor of the “micropeel,” and the creator of a medical skincare company, BioMedic, Carlino noticed a gap between the quality of the skincare offered in doctor’s offices versus what was sold in department stores. In order to fill the void, she leveraged BioMedics research and technology into a more affordable and cool cosmetics, health, and wellness line that could be enjoyed by all. And so she launched Philosophy in 1996 and took the beauty scene by storm. Touted for fast and effective do-it-yourself vitamin C peels, nearly edible food-inspired body washes, natural-looking makeup, and clean-smelling fragrances, Carlino’s revolutionary formulations have proven to be a successful marriage of science and fun.*HeyDoYou is for the cute, clever and connected* - Uncategorized

Baby Got a BRAND NEW BACK!
I remember the first day I got my red curve, as petty as it may seem I was really friggin excited; firstly because who doesn’t love getting a new phone, and secondly because it was red, and that happens to be one of my favorite colors! I digress, I also remember the day everything with my once perfect curve, started going down hill!
I have to try my BEST to keep this badboy clean!First, that annoying hourglass spinning thing that comes on for NO REASON whatsoever!
THEN, it started taking FOREVER to turn back on after a battery pull.
It would “ring” without actually ringing!
One day I put it down on my desk, and my screen cracked… Yes, I sat there staring at it, like WHAT THE HELL?!WTH??!THEN, one day I had a back to my phone the next it was gone. I don’t know how or when, all I know is that I dropped my phone, searched EVERYWHERE, but never saw it again.
we call this one PO’-Berry!Don’t get me started on the trackball issues, I almost killed this phone a number of times!
But as they say, joy comes in the morning, and it’s about time! Now I can answer the phone and do whatever the f**k it is I need to do without feeling so damn ashamed! Plus I’m LOVING this trackpad ish!Baby Got a Brand New Back y’all!*kisses*♥Bella♥*HeyDoYou is for the cute, clever and connected*
