Walk With Me @Lishinu Leash
Most retractable leashes are hard to use, have inconvenient buttons, and are uncomfortable for dogs because they can pull on the line until they choke themselves. The Lishinu is Compact and Cute!

At first, I was really curious but skeptical if this can work for Jacob. Since they recommend you to use this on dogs 30 kg or less (66 lbs). Jacob is right at the max…Dog owners know a dog his size can pull a person if they really tried.
So on our regular Sunday night walk, I decided to try Lishinu: we LOVE IT! It is easy to wear, light weight and cool to use.

I wore it over my sweater sleeve on my left wrist so I could text and call with my right hand. When we stopped at the intersection to cross the street, I instinctively use the handle-like extension part.
Once we are out of the traffic, Jacob was able to roam ‘free’ himself and smell the things he really wanted to and pee on random things too.
Overall we really like the Lishinu and was surprise by how easy it is to use it! It can be a great training tool as well for dogs and puppies. We had a lot of fun on our walk using it and highly recommend this pet innovation!

A Bit of Fresh: @Febreze #Noseblind Event
With closed windows and stuffy living rooms, NYC apartments really need a pick me up in the dead of winter. Febreze is a staple in any pet household and ours is of no exception. Tai stopped by the media invite for the NYC event for Febreze, enjoy his review below:
Car service to events in this cold weather is definitely a nice touch! The day started well and ended just as good (with car service back home.) The event was very well put together, from the second I stepped out of the car service someone called me by name and escorted me to the list at the door and I was led in. The Loft event space was beautiful and was a great venue to experience the event.
Once inside there were quite a few stations to check out. I made a custom dog tag for Jacob, took a green screen picture on a half dog half couch thing, played with some brilliant dogs from ASPCA and got to hang out a bit with Jane Lynch.
The event was very well put together and felt very on brand. The food spread was very nice, there were two press stations and Jane Lynch had a big enough personality and professional charm to command the attention of the room the entire event.
Jane sat down with HeyDoYou along with 3 other Blogs and chopped it up with us about funk, Febreze and wet dog smells. I was very impressed with her professional and polite demeanor. She is a Class Act and a great ambassador for Febreze!
Look its French Toast!The tone of the event was light and upbeat, amazing little macaroons, great space, well executed, played with puppies and HeyDoYou was able to sit down with Jane Lynch….. SURVEY RESULTS INDICATE THAT 49 PERCENT OF AMERICANS SAY THEY DREAD VISITING HOMES WITH PETS BECAUSE OF THE STENCH
A global 2014 survey from Atomik Research concluded that pet odor is enormously important to both residents and guests. To the embarrassment of pet-owners nationwide, guests have a keen ability to detect any stink: nearly half of those surveyed (48 percent) said that they could make out someone’s home simply by the odor alone – particularly if they have pets. In fact, pet smells were ranked as the second most offensive smell within a home (ranking just below garbage and just above smoke). The majority (60 percent) of pet owners agree, however, that they would hate it if they thought their guests were thinking their homes smelled of animals.

One Million PIBBLE March Raises Awareness of Discrimination
Washington, D.C. — Millions of pit bull terriers – commonly referred to as Pibbles – now have a voice during the first ever One Million PIBBLE March organized bycomedian Rebecca Corry (Comedy Central, King of Queens, Last Comic Standing). Founder of the Stand Up for Pits Foundation, Corry will lead this historic event on the West Lawn of U.S. Capital in Washington D.C. on May 3, 2014 from 12:30 – 2:00 pm.
With the goal of raising awareness, inspiring federal funding and creating new programs, the March will discuss ways to eradicate the discrimination and abuse. Recently, President Obama spoke out about the ineffectiveness of the breed specific legislation (BSL) laws and ways to see it abolished. The reality is the dog fighting epidemic is worse than ever before, with the majority of abuse being committed by youth ages 13 to 21.
“My goal is to create safe and humane communities for humans and pets alike through raising awareness and identifying solutions,” said One Million PIBBLE March organizer Rebecca Corry. “I believe through laughter, positive images and education, we can make a difference. Quite frankly, this is a societal problem that affects us all as abuse that begins with pets can quickly extend to children. The targeting of pit bull terriers is unfortunately a direct reflection of broken society, but one that can be fixed and starts with constructive, awareness-building events like our One Million PIBBLE March.”This historic international event – inspired by Corry’s own pit bull terrier, Angel — is attracting attendees from all over the United States as well as Canada, England and Germany to name a few. With more than 5,000 registered attendees to date and growing, Corry is spearheading a PIBBLE movement.
