“ I travel significantly with my job, and every time I opened my cosmetic bag, I found yet another unfortunate surprise. Either the powders from my eye shadow or blush were broken and showing their colors on the inside walls of my makeup bag, or my liquid foundation had broken and the inside was a wet, hot mess!! I began to wonder if it was too much to ask for a clean container to hold my makeup?????”

    – Jane Lee

Fieldwork Brewing Company Expands San Ramon Location With Increased Indoor Taproom Capacity and New Food Program at City Center Bishop Ranch

An ambassador for craft beer in Berkeley, California, Fieldwork Brewing Company expands its San Ramon location with an additional 900 square feet of increased indoor taproom capacity at City Center Bishop Ranch in the Tri-Valley region servicing the greater East Bay cities of San Ramon, Danville, Alamo, and Dublin/Pleasanton. The Fieldwork Taproom and Beer Garden at City Center Bishop Ranch will feature a 3,300 square feet indoor taproom and 2,700 square feet outdoor beer garden. Fieldwork Brewing at City Center remains open until their Grand Opening set for spring 2021.
“We are excited to expand our indoor space at City Center Bishop Ranch to add 40 additional seats and a kitchen so we can offer our patrons high-quality foods from our Culinary Director Jeffrey Amber’s new menu. City Center will be the latest Fieldwork location to feature our full menu, and we’re thrilled to be able to provide great menu items along with our fresh, locally brewed beer,” says Barry Braden, Co-Founder and Owner of Fieldwork Brewing Company.
“Fieldwork has quickly become a popular place for the community to meet and spend time. Everyone knows how good their beer is and we are excited that this expansion will allow them to introduce their food menu at City Center, which is equally fantastic,” says Alexander Mehran, Jr., President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunset Development Company, Owner and Operator of City Center Bishop Ranch.

Lauded as a “Rising Star Chef” by San Francisco Chronicle, Chef Jeffrey Amber (Culinary Director, Fieldwork Brewing Company) leads Fieldwork Brewing’s food program following his pioneering work as Executive Chef at Bi-Rite, Culinary Director at MIXT, Executive Chef at Chow, among other restaurant ventures. For the Fieldwork Taproom and Beer Garden menu at City Center Bishop Ranch, Amber sources exceptional organic ingredients from Bay Area farmers to serve seasonally-focused dishes and support the local sustainable agricultural ecosystem.
The centerpiece of Fieldwork’s menu is Neapolitan-inspired pizza cooked with organic flour from Central Milling (Logan, Utah) and fresh whole peeled organic tomatoes sourced from Rob DiNapoli (Los Gatos, Calif.). Spring vegetables and artisanal meats shape the opening menu with 10 different pizza styles. Starters include many health-conscious options, and a children’s menu is available. The Fieldwork Taproom and Beer Garden at City Center Bishop Ranch full menu can be downloaded at this LINK.

Brewing well over 500 unique beers since opening its West Berkeley brewery in February 2015, Fieldwork brews with as much a sense of purpose as a sense of place as they honor Northern California’s magnificent outdoor landscapes with an array of idiosyncratic beers. The esteemed brewing team led by Head Brewer and Co-Founder Alex Tweet focuses on innovation for its ever-evolving roster of highly aromatic and well-balanced beers. Based on seasonality and consistent quality, Fieldwork forges its own path brewing beers they simply love to drink.
Walking into Fieldwork Brewing locations is never the same experience twice with their ambitious brewing program featuring signature IPAs, Double IPAs, lagers, pale ales, sours, stouts, etc. Bay Area regulars and out of town visitors can always rely on enjoying an onslaught of beer varieties with the tasting menu in constant rotation. Some beers reappear and others never repeat.
The Fieldwork Taproom and Beer Garden at City Center Bishop Ranch features upwards of 18 beers on the menu.

1 Product = 10 Trees – Nature’s Path is planting 10 trees for every item sold on their website throughout April to celebrate Earth Month

As part of 2021 Earth Month celebration and in partnership with tentree, Nature’s Path is planting 10 trees for every item sold on www.naturespath.com during the month of April 2021 (up to 100,000 trees). (Includes all of Nature’s Path brands: Nature’s Path, Love Crunch, EnviroKidz and Que Pasa.)

At Nature’s Path, they hold ourselves accountable for doing what’s best for people and the planet. Of course, protecting the earth is a big job. Luckily, Nature’s Path got great partners like tentree, whose comfy Earth-First essentials are changing the way we think about everyday items like clothing and textiles to protect the world we play in. With their help (and yours), Nature’s Path is out to shake things up and create a cleaner, greener future.

Besides constantly looking at innovative ways to make apparel with the smallest possible footprint and create more circular supply chains, tentree is on a mission to plant 1 billion trees. Why? Because it’s one of the best ways to create a more sustainable future. That’s why on April 1st, Nature’s Path became Planet Partners and set out on a mission to support tentree by planting up to 100,000 trees—10 trees for every item purchased through their website in the US. Nature’s Path also sat down with tentree to talk about their goals surrounding sustainability, the organic movement, and food security.

With a product line of over 150 delightfully nutritious cold cereals, granolas, oatmeal, waffles, tortilla chips, salsa, and more, Nature’s Path is the largest organic breakfast and snack food brand in North America, and is sold in more than 50 countries around the world. Brands within the Nature’s Path family include Love Crunch, Qi’a, Que Pasa, and EnviroKidz. All Nature’s Path products are Certified Organic and Non-GMO Project Verified, and are made with wholesome, premium ingredients that nourish consumers in a healthy and delicious way.

Nature’s Path believes that everyone has a right to organic food, regardless of circumstance. Over the past 11 years, the company has donated more than $40 million to food banks, endangered species, community organic gardens, school gardens, frontline workers, children’s hospitals, and other organizations in need across North America.

Nature’s Path believes everyone has the right to quality organic food and that’s why they maintain an annual commitment of donating $2 million worth of food to those in need. Nature’s Path also provides financial support to urban gardening projects who grow fresh organic food and who help nurture their communities.

Nature’s Path mission is to Leave the Earth Better than you found it, and every day they strive to move closer to this, whether it’s through the food they make or the causes and communities they support. Nature’s Path has a series of sustainability goals and targets that are part of the strategic and annual business planning process. Nature’s Path was the first North American cereal company to have their manufacturing facilities Zero Waste certified and they are committed to making all their packaging reusable, recyclable or compostable by 2025. Making bold and ambitious commitments and engaging the internal teams to achieve them is a powerful way to solve complex issues.
