Earth Day with Green Toys Puzzles
Fun and learning fit together with the Green Toys™ Puzzles! The colorful Dump Truck, Garden, and Tea Time puzzles are just right for toddlers developing fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
These durable, 4-piece sets perfect starter-puzzles, with easy-to-hold 3D pieces that encourage imagination and pretend play. Children can easily identify the shapes of the pieces, building cooperative play and communication skills as they ask for a wheel, cupcake, or flower to complete their masterpiece.
With 2 nephews and a brand new niece, I know there are plenty of occasions in need of new toys. Toys that the kids can learn from and benefit the earth is a major bonus! I can’t wait to have my niece try out the new Green Toys Puzzles. I think she will need a break from her brothers’ lightsabres and robots and love her Garden Puzzle.

Play Games with FunnyBoneToys
Funnybone Toys – card Games, toys, and gifts for lovers of Good Design. Funnybone Toys was created as a specialty in the toy and game market: a true combination of form, function, and beautiful minimalist design. The launch of Funnybone Toys, based in Denver, CO, set out to create a US-based company that could mesh these elements together. “Funnybone Toys is a company that makes games to stimulate fun and creativity,” says President Julien Sharp. “We designed the games so that no matter the age, people can enjoy.”
Recently, I have put in effort to get off the computer, iPad and phone and get outside. Doing fun things with friends is easy but getting off your device is hard! We are all addicted to FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) and constantly checking email, Instagram and Twitter. To break this habit and pick up a new healthy one – I introduce to you Funny Bone Toys! There are a variety of good old fashion games with a new modern design perfect for at the park, someones house or by the pool even. Playing games require REAL interaction, conversation, eye contact, jokes, competition, team work and a sense of play. All factors of a good relationship. Your friend will appreciate spending REAL time with you. Get OFFLINE and play a game! These are my recommendations below.
Disruptus™ – which asks players to look at objects and ideas and use different approaches — as determined by the roll of a die — to innovate. Disruptus draws inspiration from the very important practice of ‘disruptive thinking’. Disruptive thinking is one of the most powerful ways to innovate. It has been used to create ideas and objects like digital music, camera phones, and car sharing programs. Not only being used in corporations to help employees and teams be more innovative, it’s also beloved by families and has won the Party Game of the Year 2013 by Creative Child Magazine and a Laugh Out Loud Award by Tillywig Toy Reviews.

Smitten for the Wee Generation Toys/Decor
Kerrie Vacalis of Austin, TX launched Smitten after realizing quickly into parenthood that the fascination, whimsy, and wonder of childhood was being degraded by fast paced over-stretched world. People were too busy, too plugged in, too stressed to enjoy it. She believes children’s things can be unique, long lasting and inspire children to create, discover, and imagine; that they can allow parents and grandparents to reconnect with the magic of their childhood and, in turn, share it now with those that matter most.
Smitten’s mission is to help bring the magic of childhood back – where kids can be kids, interact with others and revel in the pleasure of simply spending time together. The e-shop carries items from local and international brands including Jess Brown, Corby Lindersticks, Janod, Oeuf and Lille Huset.Smitten for the Wee Generation (www.perfectlysmitten.com)

Holiday Toys from @planetdog1997
When you love your dog and your dog loves you, every is like Christmas! In the beginning the peeing and chewing may slightly outweigh the cute but you stuck with each other and now you are truly a team. It is that bond, that routine, that repetition that grounds you and make you the only person your dog will trust. This, over time, is what I call true love. Loving and dog and having that kind of pure love come into your life is like going to an oxygen bar and getting PURE oxygen. It just makes you think clearly, see sharper colors and feel the pulse of life.
Planet Dog creates amazing toys for the dogs we love and if everyday feels like Christmas anyway, why not get some Holiday toys early?
Orbee-Tuff® Bulb with Treat Spot™ – all-purpose toy is doggie-durable, buoyant and minty. The Bulb has a Treat Spot for stuffing, well, stuffing and other great leftovers
This toy is so minty and chewy! I gave this to Pocky and how adorable is she?
There is a treat compartment you can use to get your dog curious about the toy
The Wishbone plush toy is so cute! It is soft and has a mesh outer layer so it it won’t get sticky with slobber. The Y shape makes it fun for the dog to toss it, chew it, hold it and shake it. A great holiday toy that you dog will love all year round.
Out of all his toys, the Wishbone is his fav! Maybe because it’s the new toy smell.

Toys: Vanity by @JopenLLC
I’d missed the FedEx guy once, but finally a knock at my door, and the unmarked box was delivered. After tearing the box open, I was greeted by my Vanity by Jopen Vr6.5 (retail: $148.99) luxury “intimate accessory.”
The sleek, purple toy came with a black satin pouch so that it could be neatly and discretely packed away when not in use. I could tell some thought had gone into the design. As you can see, it looks like it is made specifically with a woman’s body in mind.
Turns out that Jopen, founded by sexual wellness pioneer, Susan Colvin, has an all-woman product development team. So all of Jopen’s pleasure products have the features and functions that women want.
Here’s what makes Vanity by Jopen’s toys so great:
- Premium silicone that maintains body heat. It’s also unscented (no gross rubbery smell), non-porous, durable and hypo-allergenic
- Intense incremental speed control (more on that later) with independent dual motors
- Whisper quiet
- Security travel lock
- 100% waterproof
- Easy to clean
- And best of all, designed for women by women
So, what did I think?
The Vr6.5 was everything it promised to be. But, you’ll have to see for yourself.
XOXO
