New York Fashion Week @AntonioAzzuolo Fall / Winter 2014 #mbfw
Even though there was slush and snow covering all paths to the show I was determined to check out the Antonio Azzuolo Fall / Winter 2014 presentation. The show was hosted at the Warby Parker store in New York’s meatpacking district. I thought this was very smart location as Warby Parker provided the eyewear accessories for the presentation!
Anotnio Azzuolo did a fantastic job playing with the duality of slim and baggy silhouettes, but making them feel like a complete look. This was exciting to see, it reminded me of a contemporary sportswear feel where tights are worn under shorts etc. However, the tights were replaced by slim cut slacks with loose shorts and tops made out of dressier fabrications. In addition, turtlenecks were worn under dress shirts to give a futuristic and modern aesthetic. The entire collection felt very progressive and very global.
wIt was nice to see the pops of color in the Fall / Winter collection, I love pinks, violets and purples during colder seasons. Sometimes it is nice to throw on color to brighten up your day and lift your spirits.
The styling was very impressive and right on the money! There was a great choice in eyewear from Warby Parker in addition to amazing footwear by Santoni, a.a. for giulianoFuijwara. The footwear ranged from classic dress shoe silhouettes to upscale sneakers that were all very appropriate with each look.
This collection is definitely worth checking out and is a very wearable collection. Many of the pieces can be worn together or stand alone as staples for both men and women!

I got the most amazing present from my Mom2 called a Shutterball. It works like a remote shutter for your iPhone 4S+. Designed to take perfect Selfies and photos from a far, the Shutterball made my days at Fashion Week so much easier and lots more fun.
Since I only had a 4, I was so lucky to get a loaner iPhone 5C from my friends at Verizon for Fashion Week.

Verizon Wireless lent me an iPhone 5C to test out during Fashion Week. Coming from an iPhone 4, this 5C was amazing! It had a long battery life, fast reaction time, quick upload and I was able to FourSquare check-in, Facebook message, post to Instagram and Tweet seamlessly! The Verizon network has great coverage so in locations my Sprint phone could not get a signal, I was still able to upload with my 5C. The bright fun colors that iPhone 5C is offered in makes it a colorful inspiration for my everyday life.

Say I Love You in 4 Ways
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and nothing can really top last year’s… when I got engaged on the Brooklyn Bridge Park. It was freezing but it couldn’t be more perfect! Being married almost a year now, I have learned how to say I love you without saying it. Spice up your life with traditional and nouveau ways to show your partner they are special!
1. The Naked Heart by CARR Candle
Scent is closely tied to memory and you can perfectly embed yourself into your lover’s subconscious by buying him a candle. A memorable one, not one from the supermarket for air freshening! Communication is key! So many times, calls get dropped, reception is bad, battery dies and camera memory is full. It sucks and since my hubby and I are both overdue for a new phone, our iPhone 4’s are just not cutting it anymore. I recently got to test out the iPhone 5C from Verizon and love it. The speed of download, responsively, the longer screen, the lighter phone – all contribute to better communication, better mood and of course more talk time. The Verizon 5C is colorful and fun and an easy present for Valentine’s Day.
