    little lady…

My mom often says she’s amazed by how I’ve become such a ” little lady”. Translation, “I’m so happy you don’t wear those awful over-sized hoodies, t-shirts and baggy jeans.” It was always kinda funny to watch how much it frustrated her 🙂 I heart my mama!

As a little girl I hated the mere thought of wearing a party dress. And even as a teenager, I still picked hoodies & jeans over dresses, frilly dresses, not to mention anything fitted…especially when the “girls” started growing and boys started staring lol

I wasn’t a tomboy or anything. In fact, I was quite the opposite. I loved my barbies, getting my hair curled, playing dress-up with my mom’s stuff (except the dresses), getting chased by boys, happily ever after cartoons/stories, you know the usual… but not wearing dresses.

I don’t know when or how the change happened; but soon I started to notice I had less hoodies, and more dresses… close fitting ones. I’d even started wearing bikinis! oh lord *fans self*

The adventures of growing up. Did you go through this phase?

    peace, love and health

    :Random Thought

I just watched The Social Network… I know, it’s been out FOREVER! Never mind the fact that i’m watching it bootleg via Playstation 3. I’ve been too busy working on making my millions then to watch another man prove how he made his billions.
Biggest contributor to his success is… the fact that he knew he could be successful.

Thoughts?! What did this make me think? How did it make me feel?!

First thought is that sometimes there’s nothing wrong with not being as “smart/cool” as ‘them guys’.
Alot of disfunctionality in all of the intelligence = making me nervous.
Just because you go to the best school/have the best job doesn’t make you the best person.
Respect your team, you can only go so far on your own.
Stay true to your passion. If you have something going… and you know it can go… get it there.

    (T.O.) Did you ever?

Random thought, do people really cheat during exams? I always remember being very afraid of cheating, I simply couldn’t bare the embarrassment of getting caught! I’ve been in exams and witnessed people get caught, and it’s not a pretty sight. Just imagine, paper is torn up, everybody has that “oh sh*t” expression on their face including you, AND you get a big fat ZERO for that course!

It’s funny to watch but I’ll pass on that one. I remember sitting in the lounge at the school I’m currently attending (no name dropping) with a bunch of people, making “cheat notes” because we hadn’t studied. Yeah yeah whatever ha ha ha. But then I was always too afraid to use them, and would just throw them away. I want to be done with school as soon as possible, so I’ll be damned if I’m stuck re-taking courses or suspended/expelled cause I got caught cheating. No ma’am.
    peace and love (and goodluck!)

    Random Thoughts… I love ma’ B*tchez

Life is a crazy, busy place… we’re all trying to work through and stay ahead of the race. But sometimes its time to chill and from time to time, when I do, I’ll go through some of my favorite blogs and catch up on what I miss, one of these being The Segment. While Nebby and I don’t know each other very well… “Gurrrrrllll… you keep me entertained!!!”!!! No, but honestly, I love The Segment, Nebby & Andy keep us educated and entertained on all things (and opinions) in the current. Anyways, while reading through past postings, I stumbled across an entry from last month with the image below and under reading “Do you agree?”…

When I read through the different ‘friend’ descriptions, I thought to myself… “That sounds like Chelle, that one is Tasha & Ry, this one is Kesh, that one is Leslie…” “Cins, Tam, Rose, Yvonne, Nik, G, Summer, Liz, Bossy, Krista, Bella, etcccccccccccccc” then I started thinking “well, that’s a bit of each of them” and “both of them are like that”, until I came to the conclusion that I am fortunate enough to say that each of my girlfriends have a lil bit of the ’12 qualifications’ listed. Whether we have been friends for 20 years or 2 months, I have an incredible core… we each walk different paths, that all interconnect in the places that are most important!!! To my friends, every… last… one… of… you… you make a difference in my life and for that, I LOVE you!!! And to the world… watch out… because I love ma’ B*tchez!!! So, to answer the question… I do agree & believe in exceptions to every rule; a similar article could be… “12 things every woman deserves to find in her girlfriends”, or something there-so related lol!

Disclosure: plz do not be offended by any particular lack-of-mention, if u know ur one of my boss b*tchez then u know ur in my heart! xoxo
