@UNIQLO collaboration with Pharrell Williams
Fresh from getting down with Lupita Nyong’O, Meryl Streep and Amy Adams at the Oscars, Pharrell has got himself a new gig as the face of Uniqlo UT. Recently relaunched under the creative direction of his friend and frequent collaborator Nigo – the man famous for founding legendary Japanese label BAPE – Uniqlo’s streetwear line is anchored by the aptly monikered “The New Model T” T-shirt. Its USP? Not only is it made from a hardier cotton than Uniqlo’s regular shirts, but it also features a torso with no sides seams for added comfort as well as a series of eye-popping graphics throughout the season.
While the offering is always extensive, this season Nigo has taken things into a whole new realm by creating a range of T-shirts featuring 35 themes in a staggering 1200 colours combinations and patterns. The first you can see on Pharrell himself here is a collaboration with the Oscar nominee’s “i am OTHER” collective. While there are few details on exactly what will be in the full selection we can say that it will consist of T-shirts and caps, and is set to launch in mid-April with a TV commercial soundtracked by a track from Pharrell’s new album GIRL.

Contest: FILA T-shirt Design

Fila has just launched a new and exciting contest giving Heydoyou readers the chance to design a limited edition T-shirt for the stars!Celebrating its 100th anniversary, Fila announced their T-shirt design contest.
You can submit your imaginative T-shirt designs through Fila Canada’s Facebook page. The deadline is June 30, then the public will vote for the top 10 designs and Fila Canada will choose the grand prize winner on July 11.
You can submit your creation and get all your friends to vote for their favourite design. The winning T-shirt will be on display and gifted to celebrities and VIPs during the Toronto Film Festival, at the IT Lounge-a charitable gifting suite that has past welcomed stars such as Olivia Wilde, Ryan Gosling, Edward Norton, Jennifer Garner and Kardinal Offishall. The winner will also win exclusive access to attend Fila’s IT Lounge suite and see their design on display and on celebrities. Imagine that! Seeing sexy Ryan Gosling wearing your designs!
